There will be major changes to the rules for next year's competition.

The basic premise of selecting 10 people who wont make it the new year remains, however, as a lot of people jumped on the "very old" bandwagon, things need to change.

So, to give you time to do your research here is the new rules for 2008.

1. No one over the age of 100 on 1/1/08 can be selected for FF
2. No one on death row or under sentence of death as of 1/1/08 can be selected
3. No one under the age of 18 on 1/1/08 will count
4. You will select one joker. If your joker comes up, you get double points.

And here is the new scoring system.

At the time of death if your celebrity is
over 90 you will score 1 point
is between 80-89 you will score 2 points
is between 70-79 you will score 3 points
is between 60-69 you will score 4 points
is between 50-59 you will score 5 points
is between 40-49 you will score 6 points
is between 30-39 you will score 7 points
is between 20-29 you will score 8 points

you will score DOUBLE points if you are the only person to have selected that person.

you will score DOUBLE points if you the person you select is your joker.

Therefore, if your joker is unique to you, you will get QUADRUPLE points.
