Oh, and cue the highly predictable "The Liverpool fans on here won't care as they don't go to games" reply. Some prick is bound to post it.

I like that "1 Adult/1 Child" deal they do.
They seem pretty competitive to me but following last season's performances from the team it isn't what you'd expect.

Loving the fact Newcastle are in a higher price category than Sunderland, but then again in all fairness, generally most Newcastle v Liverpool matches are pretty exciting ones.
In the mid 90's there was a season where both fixtures ended 4-3. They were great games, Asprilla lobbing the keeper, Fowler scoring a winner in the 90th minute. Can't really remmeber much else as I was only about 8 years old but yeah they were great games.

That was one of the first games i remembered watching as a Liverpool fan, what an awesome game. Would love to see that again

I don't understand how people can afford to follow a team in the top tier.

Onsale now to members too
Given I'm not a member, is it likely there will be some left for open sale? And any idea on when they might release those tickets?
What does the average Premier League season ticket cost now a days?
I don't understand how people can afford to follow a team in the top tier.
Blackburn and Wigan are about £150 and £100 respectively cheaper than a season ticket at Deepdale...

Second - all those prices are absolutely disgraceful. The part of the city in which Liverpool are based has a real unemployment rate of about 50%. So much for staying true to the local community.
Prices in all parts of the pyramid are expensive when compared to our European neighbours, but at least I can understand Altrincham or Dagenham and Redbridge charging between £14 - 20. Gate receipts are such a vital source of income. Premier League sides get ENORMOUS amounts of television revenue, they don't need to squeeze as much as they can out of fans.

It will be interesting to see how this compares to the prices other teams release this season.

Only a total idiot would pay £94 to watch a football match.
No wonder the atmosphere down there is terrible. Who the **** is going to games? Millionaires who are used to throwing money at things and getting their own way? That would at least explain why the fans never seem to get behind the side.
The sad thing is, from what I've read, the North Bank used to be reknowned as one of the better places from which to watch a game in this country. Vociferous and passionate. The Emirates in now a 60,000 capacity morgue.

I imagine they're cheaper because you have a whole lot more seats and can therefore afford to sell them cheaper. Arsenal's more expensive tickets are a disgrace.

Yerp. The only Cat A tickets I'd get would be the £48 ones and there's never ever any left by the name they go on sale to us shitty red members. As such I'll go to the Cat B games in the £33-39 seats this season
As for the atmosphere, it's good enough in the lower tier at either end. In the upper tier it can get very very quiet (I have been up there a couple of times)

The Europa League will be general sale from tomorrrow
The trouble with that is that the fixture might get reversed.
There is a potential clash as two teams from Macedonia, FK Rabotnicki and FK Teteks, play their home matches in the same stadium and they are both drawn to play at home on the same day. If both FK Rabotnicki and FK Teteks qualify for the 3rd Round, The fixture dates will be reversed and Liverpool FC v RK Rabotnicki will be played on Thursday 5th August 2010. This will be confirmed upon completion of the 2nd Round on 22nd July.

Why do you think i don't bother going?
I think it is absolutely disgusting that clubs put the prices up every single year without fail.
The only way around all this is for the supporters to stop going to the matches, but of course we all know this won't happen despite the vast majority of people claiming that next season they won't renew their season tickets.
People are just getting milked dry.

I believe this is the third season running Arsenal have frozen ticket prices... It does demonstrate just how high they were 3 years ago. But at this rate, with the amount of money we're making each year, others will catch and surpass us... you never know the board might be looking to keep prices as they are now forever

And just remind us how much is a season ticket at Arsenal?
It's extortionate i'd hazard a guess.

He's the largest shareholder with just over a quarter. If he continues to buy and goes over the 30% mark, he has to mount a bid for the remaining shares. His intentions remain unknown, but the board are very Kroenke-friendly in public (after originally stating "we don't want his kind at our club" or something).off-topic but does that Stan Kroenke own a lot of you now?

Despite the fact the pricier tickets at the Emirates are absolutely scandalous, I always found it odd that you pay less for category B in the away end than I ever paid at Highbury! (For League games I mean, once paid £15 for a League Cup tie!)
HA your cheapest season ticket is cheaper that a top price at macc.
They play three divisions higher and have slightly better facilities, what did you expect?

350 for a season ticket at a premier league club or pay 375 full price to sit down at a struggling league two side.
Just interesting to see the price difference is all

Aye, but if you're someone from Macclesfield who cares about the town it should still be a no-brainer. You don't go to the footy to sit back and be entertained. At least you shouldn't.
That said, despite the fact Macc's fanbase is small and they can't rely on huge Premier League-style income streams, £375 is extremely difficult to justify.
