I just got hold of some PSD footie Kit templates, someone kindly shared, and I would do likewise. ;)

There were a lot of corrupted layers, and I haven't weeded all the crap out yet, but plenty of stuff to work with, so I decided to make some alternative Liverpool designs - some kits I'd like to see, you might say. They seem to be based on last season's kits. My Photoshop skills are moderate, I'd say.

Sadly, they are shirts only, so if anyone has a notion as to how and where I can obtain socks and shorts templates, I would be interested. Not interested enough to pay for them, though. :P

I prefer my kits to be simple.

Liverpool home (All red)
Posted Image

Liverpool Away 1st Choice (white with option for white or black shorts, white socks).
Posted Image

Liverpool Away 2nd Choice/European (All Gold).
Posted Image

I also come up with some alternatives for other clubs, where I have messed around a little to show the variety of pre-prepared layers within the PSD templates:

Everton
Posted Image

Man Utd
Posted Image

Post your own, and let me know if you want to templates to play with yourself - as well as where you can get others.

I prefer the simple liverbird with the word LFC underneath like you have got in your avatar to our current badge.

I haven't done anything but change some colours around and add the crest and sponsor. I'll try something more interesting tomorrow.

EDIT: An attempt at making one for Torquay, a request by my mate.

I've been trying to recreate the 2010/11 Adidas Liverpool kit with these, and I finally managed it, thanks to this:

Posted Image

Posted Image

I also felt I could improve upon Bolton's home and away kits with some slight variations on last year's designs. I included the Premier League lion logo on the last one within the number.

:o I don't think I have ever seen that logo - but then I am not quite that old. :P

Thanks for posting them, though. I will maintain copies, even though they repulse me! :P

Do you have (or can get) scans of those pages of those programmes by any chance - or is that information about it being in there second-hand?

You see, I don't believe it was an "official" club logo at any time. I have been looking around and it was seen around by some in the sixties or seventies, and there has been some discussion on sites about it being used on some (not necessarily official) LFC merchandise (programmes were not mentioned), but such discussion concluded that it was not actually a bona fide club logo, and that it was made-up by someone for selling purposes - it was described as a manufacturer's or printer's design, based on our logo.

It definitely does not appear on any genuine kits.

Anyway, here are a few more efforts.

What's the Torres font? Looks like the UEFA font to me. I believe Premier League clubs use Optima.

I've got the numbers sorted though.

When Dessie and I were in the LFC museum on Thursday, I spotted this very program on display. There were also a few other bits and pieces with that logo on as well.

In all likelihood, the resemblance to that logo that those evil people in East Lancashire subsequently adopted, would have meant that people hereabouts would have shunned it.;)

Anyway, I see Adidas are now doing the Scotland kit, so here's another piece of playfulness:
