Can anyone recommend some decent breaks mixes?

I went to Jaded on Sunday. Pretty good as always. We got there at 8am and Rodriguez JR was smashing it already, he played Rubicon which was great as its the first time we've heard it out.

Rebecca came on and played a four hour set of heavy industrial stuff and Stanford closed. I'd struggled for an hour because I needed to empty my bowels but the toilets were a state. Finally gave in though and was glad I did as it made the last couple of hours more easy.

If you're in London on a Sunday and want techno you can't go wrong with Jaded. Just empty your bowels before hand.

Off to Boom Festival next week. :)

Been a long time since I posted anything by Stanton Warriors :

Love it!

In other news, I've taken the first few cautious steps into putting on my first Techno. :) Not sure it will happen yet as still a lot to sort out, but put the idea out there tonight amongst some DJ's and have quite a bit of interest on their part. Venue could be sorted and then it's a case of just working out costs really.

It probably won't be until the early part of next year if it does happen but we'll see. Exciting but nervous at the same time.

Got back to England from Boom last night. Such an amazing festival. Lots of psy trance and a surprising amount of techno too.

We danced a lot but there is so much other stuff to do there. The art work is amazing and I attended some talks on Drug policy one of which was hosted by the drug policy minister in Portugal.

The heat was hard work but the best day was when we got up at five am and spent the whole day dancing to minimal Techno.

I dont know if Satch went in the end or not?

I might do a write up for another site I use so I'll whack it up on here if people would be interested?

I didn't. Left it last minute and couldn't get paperwork sorted in time. Second time it's evaded me now.

Go on then. And post some minimal sets from Boom if you can. I'll kick you off with a big'un:

Yeah post it. Loved your pictures on Facebook of the sort of hanging canopy/hammock style netting in the trees...looked like there were some awesome little spots to take a breather between dancing at that place.

Yeah it was all the small touches that made it even better and I didn't even take pictures of the gardens, healing area and sacred fire. It was beautiful up there. I will try to do a write up over the weekend and I'll keep an eye out for some of the sets.

In the mean time I did a little mix before boom that contains most of the newer stuff I've bought. You can download and listen to it here:

:)

Not 100% happy with it and I will probably do a newer one soon but thought I'd upload it anyway.
