Regarding this thread, Cardiff finished way ahead of QPR that year. Suckers.

Like I've previously said in THE SHOUTBOX this happened on such a dull day at work when I was working in mind numbing, spirit crushing job. This thread saved that day. It was great fun. When the filter changed the Shaker to Bucket and shakerandy still kept signing all his posts. Great bit of pack mentality from the League Two forum who just steamed in and continued to take the piss.

Hello, SoC.

Hahaha, HI OAF. :)

I was testing that people could reply for Woody, by the way. I don't usually make a habit of saying HELLO at the start of new threads. Maybe, I should start doing this, though.

Discuss your favourite classic moments here.

I think LF created a thread a few years ago copying/pasting some "erotic" messages between Matty's left something (former member) and a some lass.

I thought it was hilarious at the time but i can't seem to find it.

No. One of the admins, probably LF, caught a pm conversation between Matty and that girl who supported Chelsea (I THINK).

Sid was a legend and it's a shame we don't see him around these parts anymore.

I once met him outside Edgeley Park where he then presented me with a medal and then i posed for a photo with him receiving it, people staring at us as they went into the ground, it was very surreal. Tried explaining to my 7yr old why a strange Lincoln fan gave me a medal but it wasn't easy.

There is a picture on TFF somewhere of that meet.

Navier, is that Cheltenham thread you're talking about the one that Maxwell started? I think it was just before my time, if so. I remember reading it later on, though.

I remember that. Would have loved to have seen a 7 year old's reaction to meeting a drunken Sid on match day.

It certainly was. Not quite the same impact now as all the images are broken. Fantastic thread though.

The all time greatest thread ever is this one http://www.thefootba...a-bus-question/

Its about buses, specifically Latvian buses. The entire thread got a life of its own and still spawns jokes, to the point I actually went to the Skonto Stadium in Riga on a bus and have photos to prove it.

TFF did adopt Latvia as its favourite country.

I've done some pretty nawtee stuff on here back in the day when I could be arsed. This is about as nawtee as it got, as I wummed pretty much every TFFer http://www.thefootba...eeeeeeeeeeeena/ (or did I Wum them??)

I'm always surprised at the amount of emoticons shaker used to use in 2003/04. Something happened in 2005 that made him pretty angry.

That Argentina thread doesn't seem to work for me, either.

Shaker was a very angry little boy. Very angry indeed. The hours of fun we had telling him Bury was in Manchester.

The Argentina links doesn't seem to want to work, its on page 2 of the classics. I'll see if I can fix it.

Occasionally see Sid wandering around.

Last time I saw him a couple of months ago he'd lost quite a lot of weight. Wasn't wearing a cap either, which was a suprise.

EDIT - The L2 GK Team of the Year thread never gets old.
