Club and Ground
Crawley Town - Broadfield Stadium
How Easy Was It To Find?
Simple enough, but can be tricky if you not quite sure of where your going. When you arrive in Crawley from London or having changed at Gatwich Airport/Three Bridges(as I'd imagine most fans will do), you will leave the train and need to exit through the ticket barriers near the bridge over the platforms. Walk down the walkway onto E Street. Turn right and walk down E Street to the main road which is Brighton Road. Take a left here. Follow the path on either side of the road for about a mile, leaving the road to walk through a wooded path. You should pass the Half Moon pub on your left. Once you pass the pub, you should see the stadium over to your right. Make sure you are on the right hand side of the road and walk through an underpass near the roundabout and you will arrive at the ground. Away end is easy enough to find.
8/10 Simple enough, but a little bit of a walk.
Car Parking. Was It near? Was It Free? Was It Well Policed/lit?
Went on the train. There was a small car park at the ground, but I doubt away fans could use it.

View. Pillar In The Way?
Decent veiw. Covered terrace with a relatively low roof and no poles in the way which is always a bonus. Close to the pitch as well.
8/10
Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)
Plenty of room for our sub 500 following. Leg room wasn't an issue being a terrace. Has a roof, which means you stay dry and can make some noise.
7/10
Toilets
Didn't use them.

Catering (Quality, price, queues)
Didn't buy anything

Atmosphere From Home Fans, How Conductive Was The Away End To Creating A Good Atmosphere
Home fans were silent throughout most of the game. Even the celebration when they scored with a few minutes to go was muted. Decent atmosphere from the away end, but that was it. Nothing coming back from either the other half of the terrace or any noise made in the home ends.
5/10
Stewards, Policing
Seemed a little over zealous and my mates had some dramas getting his rucksack of food in. Also seemed to be some commotion with some stewards and one of our fans with his lad. Not sure what that was about. Didn't have any problems myself, but wasn't the best stewarding I've ever seen.
6/10
Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground?
Didn't seem a lot to do near the ground. Best off heading into the town centre for that. There is as already mentioned a great pub called the Half Moon which is perfectly placed for anyone walking to the ground from the station. But if you're not a drinker I would recommend you not get to the ground too early.
Overall. Out Of 10, What Do You Feel The Ground Deserves?
Surprisingly decent ground if the atmosphere was dreadful. Most of the ground is ok, nothing to write home about, but certainly a lot worse grounds out there. Easy enough to get to from the station and there is a perfecly located pub for the alcoholic football fan.
7/10.
