Since i kinda adopted Leicester as the team i watch now, despite hating modern football quite alot, i checked the fixtures and the first few are pretty crap.
The first one that catches my eye is Wolves away, which ill def go too.

Does anyone else pick or choose (Ill go to a couple before that) or are you all fanatics?

If you hate modern football you couldn't really have chosen a worse than Leicester, they're everything wrong with modern football.

Aaaaaaanyway, the stand out fixture for me is Forest away on my birthday weekend, couldn't have fallen better, epic piss up in store that day, already a roll call up on my fb :))

Yawn! I believe the poster is here for education. Considered everything that's wrong with modern football cos of a chant....a chant ironically which is sung abroad by the most anti-modern football club going.

Derby,
Leicester,
Brum,
Wolves,
Sheff Wednesday,
Leeds

in no particular order.

Huddersfield, Bolton (our first two away games of the season) and Blackburn are new grounds coming into the division for me that I will try and tick off.

Leicester at home last game of the season could be interesting...

Birmingham away and Leicester at home to kick things off, could easily be 0 points there.

Thankfully quite a few of the plausible away games are on Saturdays this season. Seemed so many on weeknights when I wouldn't be able to get back afterwards. So these stand out:

Blackpool (A) - Evening game but have a mate who lives very near so hopefully could kip there overnight.
Peterborough (A)
Bolton (A) - Late trains back to Liverpool. Ace.
Sheffield Wednesday (A)
Derby (A)
Notts Forest (A)
Hull (A)
Barnsley (A)
Middlesbrough (A)
Wolves (A)
Blackburn (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Charlton (A)
Birmingham (A)

As things stand I'd like to do all of those. Would be so much more than this season just gone. Obviously some will be moved etc but looks like a good season if we have a team who aren't utterly abysmal.

Especially looking forward to Blackpool, Forest on Boxing Day and Blackburn 'cos my mate is a Blackburn fan so could be fun.

Aye very true. Taking it on the chin, new places to go etc. Done Blues enough times.

Birmingham away and Leicester at home to kick things off, could easily be 0 points there.

We had Leicester home then Blues away first games last season. We got 0 points and it set the tone.

Ipswich and Millwal..we usually tend to beat them.

Palace away too..get the certain defeat out of the way early.

The only away game I'm going to is Sheff Wed on Feb 9th.

Great game to start off with. Not a rivalry as such, but it's two local teams so there will be a lot of Wednesday fans there. their away support is great, so should make for a good atmosphere.

Forest and Leeds are the only other fixtures that interest me at this point in time.

Get stuffed Trev. :P

As usual shitty midweek away games, but that's no different for other clubs.
Pleased that I think the way they've fallen I'll be able to make most of the aways :)
Apart from Middlesbrough at the end of Sept as I'm in Brum getting pissed with me TT mates.

Pity Charlton is a midweek, but with both Millwall and Palace being on a satdee it means me and my bestie can do at least one weekend in London.
Brighton is already pencilled in for a weekend away as well.

The only away game I'm going to is Sheff Wed on Feb 9th.

If you go to our match in Leicester that means you can hop on the train to Brum for the TFF meet up.......

Wolves away has fell perfect, that'll be a good one for me personally.
Burnley away on boxing day will be messy.
Blackpool last away game of the season too (Finally a Saturday!!)
Obviously Forest, Wednesday. Then the rest of the localish ones like Peterborough, Barnsley, Leeds, Hull, Leicester, Brum and Hudds.

A very good year for away trips! Get your monies out RealisticRam, plenty to do! :B)
Really looking forward to this year, even if we're inevitably shite.

I'm glad that both Birmingham and Wolves are in term-time so that I can easily get to those whilst at uni.

Quite a few home games at the beginning of the season too which means I should get to see a fair bit of football. Happy with that.

In normal circumstances I'd be looking at Derby, Leicester, Wolves and Sheffield Weds as they are the 4 away days I'd do as a minimum.

Now, due to work, I have earmarked Palace, Charlton, Millwall and a couple of other nearby matches such as Watford and even Brighton. Woop de fucking do.

I'm definitely coming back up for both Derby matches though and will squeeze in a couple more where possible.

I got a load of free pints at half-time last season at Leicester. Had the stupidest lad ever serving us, ordered a load of beer. Whilst he was pouring them my mate was leaning over and making up bovrils and giving them out to people, he finally brought over the 8 beers or whatever I'd asked for and we basically said thanks and walked off with them. He was very, very thick.

My problem is the Tuesday evening game at Middlesbrough at first glance. That's a long way to go from West London.

A couple of my best uni mates are Forest and Leicester fans, so looking forward to the games against them, but I doubt I'll get to go to the Forest home game on 25 August as it's so close to my bloody exams. The away games at Derby and Forest are only 3 days apart so that might be an excuse to go back down to uni for a bit in February. Also looking forward to Elland Road on New Year's Day.

The last time Leicester got Peterborough on the first day of the season, promotion.

The last five sides in the Championship to have Forest as the last opponents at City Ground, relegated.

Anyway I look forward to Blackburn, Blackpool and Brum on Saturdays.

Boo to Bolton, Huddersfield and Leeds on Tuesdays.

Very happy however I can go York and Fleetwood this season thanks to international breaks.
