Darwin was injured. I cannot comment much more about that.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Liverpool signs Hugo Ekitike<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite being linked with Isak, Liverpool have gone ahead to complete the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike for an initial \u00a369m, subject to international clearance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 23-year-old Frenchman, following the completion of his medical and other documentation, flew out to join Liverpool&#8217;s pre-season tour of Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eintracht Frankfurt agreed to a \u00a379 million deal earlier this week\u2014\u00a369 million upfront with an additional \u00a310 million in performance-based add-ons. The signing takes Liverpool&#8217;s total summer outlay beyond the \u00a3250 million mark.
