I'll stick our normal theme 1-0 up in the 1st half, run out of steam 2nd and hang on for dear life for a point 1-1.

Coventry 1-1 Crewe (Haber, O'Brien) 13,666 (850 Railwaymen) I hope for over 1000 away fans but everyone seems abit sick of the dull predictability of our games at the moment.

1-0 Cov. Reda Johnson goal.

A slightly disappointing crowd of 12,100. 900 from Crewe.

When Brad Inman was actually any good at football. I was there.

1-1. We'll be amazing for the first 15 minutes then relapse and spend 75 minutes looking like we've never seen a football before. Again.

Wish he was at CCFC to say it again.

Oh yes the urban myth that has followed us throughout this season. Carl Baker wouldn't have made one iota of difference to our current standing, he would have stagnated under Pressley like the rest of the squad. People need to move on and stop holding him up as some sort of modern day icon of the football club, with each mention of his name we become a little bit more tinpot.

As for the game I fancy a 2/3-0 victory, putting down a marker for next season and the standard we should be hitting.

Not considering him an icon, but I still believe we would be 10 points betters off if he was here. Just take into consideration the many, many times he bailed us out in the two previous seasons.

Dunno why, but I fancy us here. Having no midweek game, no U21 game etc, will help I think. Players will be as fresh as they ever will be, so hopefully the lack of fitness won't be as much of an issue as it was in the last 3 games. Coventry are still scrapping for survival but their home record is pretty rubbish, only won 3 of their last 18 in the league. Despite our away record not being much better, we got a decent point against Posh, only narrowly lost to Chesterfield and beat Sheff U of late, so we aren't doing too badly.

Team wise, I'd start Tootle, think we'll need his extra attacking presence at RB and bring back Ness in midfield in place of Atkinson. Whilst he's been rubbish for a while now, if Ness can connect with just one decent through ball for the likes of Ajose or LDV, we could be in business. Should have a few options on the bench as well.

Like I said, not really sure what it is, but I just think we might nick this. 2-1 perhaps. I'd like to think we can get somewhere near 1,000 for this, but given the understandable apathy towards the club at the moment, I'd take anything over 750 tbh. Looking forward to my trip, got a 2 for 2 record at the Ricoh. Shame the rail stop at the stadium isn't ready, hopefully we'll be in the same league next season so I get to use it.

Tootles injured again.. Definitely something being kept quiet there i think.

If we take 750 to this I'll be very impressed. Yeah it's a key game, yeah it's cheap, yeah it's the last away game of the season but if we're honest we've been poor in all away trips this season apart from realistically 5 so that will put some off.

There are signs Mowbray is starting to turn around the home form but Crewe always seem to win at the Ricoh anyway, I'll go for a 1-1 draw

And lol at the Crewe fan predicting 15k attendance, 12 max and probably around 10k or under.

We've sold 500 tickets so far, probably be around 750 by the end of the week and enough should pay on the day for us to get over 1000.

Sunny day, beyond cheap tickets and the last home game of the season. TM even sent out a letter to fans asking for their support, could be a bigger crowd than many expect.

Someone suggesting well over 10,000 sold already. Usually sales around 5-6000 at this stage.

Any ideas what? Heard it mentioned it seems like there's something being kept hushed but I can't fathom out what, other than maybe his contract (which is a pretty black and white issue anyway). Does seem odd though for a player who's never really suffered with injuries in the past to then be out for most of a season with a multitude of injuries.

Very odd situation, something doesn't quite seem to add up to me.

Well (I know it's an incredibly poor source to go off but I'm mearly quoting what I read) I was reading crewe mad not so long ago and someone seemed to think that during the summer there were a few tame bids that tested the water which the club didn't accept and it all came to a head after the Fleetwood game and since then relationships have never really recovered.

Toots can go for me, completely overrated. Run of the mill full back who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Couldn't agree more with that. James Baillie is the future and we barely recognised tootle was missing when he had a run in the team. However I really don't rate Ollie Turton at right back, midfield or nothing for him.

I said to a friend last summer that I could see why Tootle wouldn't go for a transfer fee. His defensive game is atrocious, although I'm not going to rag on him too much. I think he genuinely cares about the club and I think after finishing the season really well last season, he had every right to expect some sort of interest. I think what did it for him was not the interest, but the total lack of interest. Not one serious bid emerged clearly and I think that mentally affected him and his belief that he could play at a higher level.

He'll be off on a free in the summer and I wish him well, never let us down when it mattered. Shame its ended on a bit of a sour note, but hopefully he can find a decent club in the summer and get his career back on track.

As for Turton, I am of the opposite opinion. RB or nothing for me. What does he offer as a CM? He's not the play breaker like Grant and he is no play maker or goal threat like Murphy or players of a similar ilk. As for his limitations, I get the impression that Ollie is the kind of guy who will do exactly what the manager tells him and I think the manager tells him not to overcommit and get forward too much. Hence why he is constantly stapled to the CBs most of the time. Under a more attack minded coach, I think he could be much better than what he's currently shown. Lets not forget he was brought through the academy as a RB and given a professional contract as one. Him and Baillie will have a decent scrap for the RB/RWB slot next season imo. Too bad we have no contracted LB at the club.

Crewe supporting mate was told 900 Crewe tickets sold already. Will be decent.
We had sold 9000 as of 5 on Wednesday, which is a lot higher than the usual pre-game sales of around 6000.Could be over 15,000 if Crewe bring 1200.
