I think Reading will do well, I think we'll do as well as we did last year, which probably still counts as surprising!

I think Rotherham will survive but I cant be arsed listening to Evans going on with "the football league don't want us here" bollocks like last season.

He only does it for the benfit of the players to try and get a performance out of em when we need it. The likes of Pringle thrived off it.

I think Reading will do better this season, and Leeds seem to be getting a good set up in place too.

A few months ago I'd have said us, but as things stand we'll go down.

Won't make a judgement until the end of the Transfer Window.

If you mean surprise by doing better than expected, you are really restricted to teams who finished in the bottom half last season or have been newly promoted. I mean if Brentford made the play-offs again or even finished top two, it wouldn't be a major surprise.....likewise Wolves.

Reading, Fulham, Brighton and Cardiff can hardly do worse this season and I expect them all to finish higher.

I'll go for Leeds to amaze a lot of us by making the playoffs.

Mind, I tipped Millwall to make the play-offs last season.:bg:

I think a lot of people are expecting us to do a lot worse this season. Arguably a harder league than last season, we lost Pritchard and people will sit deeper than us thinking us to be a better team.

If we reach the play offs again this season we have done a lot better than last year, even if we have spent a bit more.

If the rumours on here are true Brentford get Guidetti and the Chelsea lad they were after they'll probably be looking at top 2. A lot depends on how they replace Alex Pritchard I think though.

Theres no way we'll be a surprise package unless we actually sign some players!! We've currently only got two strikers available, one is 100 years old and the other is 12.

Sheffield Wednesday are a good bet. Not sure if i'd count Reading as a potential surprise package I would expect them to do well.

Bristol City are the biggest team in this league so I would expect them to be in the top 6. They've never won anything, never had good support and always been in the lower divisions. However, here's the catch they have potential (yes, the same thing which every club has) but they have massive potential (which they've never fulfilled since they've existed). So, if Bristol City can tap into that potential they will the league easily because all away games would be abondoned because there wouldn't be enough space to fit their 10,000 visiting fans in as shown by when they took 900 to Bradford when they were already promoted.

Apart from that I expect Wednesday and Ipswich to get promoted

Whatever your gripe with us is, just get over it.
You won't find one City supporter that shares any of these views BTW.

Sorry, what problem have I got? I am bigging your club up because when people do realise your huge potential you will be taking thousands everywhere. Not sure how you got to that conclusion mate that I have something against your club. Bizarre.

Like as shown when you took 900 to Bradford when you were already promoted all but in name and couldn't sell out Chesterfield for a party. Right, ok.

I also think Rotherham will have a good season they have made some good signings in the Newcastle RB and Tom Thorpe but they are held back by Steve Evans in my opinion

Oh Dear, does anyone know what this fools' problem is?
I quite like Coventry City and wish them well but this plank is an absolute nause.
Apologies to our new Championship friends, I have no idea what this is about.
Have a good season Coventry.

I think this was easier last season:
Wolves came up with a good squad, good manager and won League One comfortably.
Brentford had a very strong transfer window. It was plain to see they went about their business quite well, even if Warburton was an unknown.
Bournemouth were no shock, even the season before it was easy to see they were a strong side. Wilson signing was huge too.
The only team to really shock me was Ipswich; as much as I thought Mick Mac was a good manager, I thought their team was toss.

This season:
Bristol City - they had a very good foundation but just don't look to have given themselves a chance this window. I think they will stay up, but I can't help but think they could have been so much more.
Fulham - they've brought a few good players, have a good youth system, so it's impossible to rule them out.
Leeds - It's impossible what to expect from them, I'm not a big Wood fan but if he turns out to be good then who knows.
Charlton - finished the season in great form. Maybe, they will be in with a shout.
Reading - see Fulham.

It's a hard one to call. On the other hand, I can only see a hard season for Forest, Wednesday (depending on what they do in the transfer market) and Cardiff City.
