Now the fixtures are out I'm looking to book trains to some of our first away games. Has anyone heard when BT Sport plan to announce their first batch of live games as I've been bitten a couple of times in the past when they've announced live games at short notice.

Apologies if there's already a thread re this but I couldn't see one.

We had our game with Eastleigh moved a week before it was played last season.
Would of it will be late this week.

Is there a policy like sky have when covering the overhyped league, ie every club must be televised x amount of times or do bt have complete autonomy over this

They "try" and spread the games around so each team is usually on at least once but there are exceptions (Lincoln?)
Teams like you/Grimsby will be one more than most but it was spread out fairly evenly last year.

I think they tend to show the bigger clubs more obviously, but think thwy try to put every Club on once over the course of a season or two. Might be wrong though.

They had Hayes v Bath (or somebody like that!) On once.

We ended up being on against Eastleigh in the final few games I think with less than a weeks notice so once in the last 3(?) seasons.

Not that I'm overly fussed because we got pissed about enough in our first season down here.

I have just bought train tickets for Welling away (Tranmere fan) on 5th september, with no premiership or championship games on that weekend it seems 100% it will happen! David v Goliath.

It's not that likely, they show a game every week or two, and you'll still only be on 2-4 times throught the season.

I can see us been put on TV against Chester/Wrexham as there our local derby's. Looking forward to it though, we seem stronger than what we did in League One a couple of years back which is worrying for the other 23 sides in this division.

Can you honestly say you know enough about most of the players we've signed to be able to make that comparison?

I reckon we'll have a home game versus Chester televised.

I would actually watch hayes v bath if i was in, it would probably be a lot more passionate and mean a lot more to people then london liverpool v london man utd

You'll make few friends on this forum with a cocky attitude like that - it doesn't appear that the other 23 teams in the league are quaking in their boots about a side who have suffered a double drop and have to rebuild their squad :)

As long as they don't move any of our Tuesday Night away games I don't mind, although i'd rather they didn't move a Saturday away game to midweek too - home games I can almost always make at short notice.

If you mean relative to the league you're in, then yes, of course you are. The only way you wouldn't be is by signing a load of PT players from several divisions below.

Thing is we are financially better too. New training camp ready at the end of the year. A manager who has a solid CV for this league and a few classy players! Including Andy Mangan.

Have a feeling our first game (home to Woking) will be moved to the friday, live on the box. Either that or Cheltenham's game. Re how we're gonna do, ask me at the end of September. Who knows, we could be top of the league with a 100% winning record with Cole Stockton the league's top scorer... Much more likely midtable after a few early set backs.

(And Stockton's shite for anyone not familiar with our squad!)

If cole stockton is top scorer at the end of september i will donate 10 quid to the site , buy you a nights beer and show my bum in beatties window he is possibly one of the worst strikers i have ever seen at prenton park even visiting supporters used to ' extract the urine' out of him last year.

I hope he has a nice warm tracksuit i think its all he will get to wear come 3 oclock on a saturday , i think we will go with mangan and his lordship

Your post reminded me of this:

Bernie Slaven said if Mboro won at Old Trafford he would show his arse in Boots window, Boro won 3 2, hence the 3 2 on his arse cheeks!

I wasn't knocking the fact they had them two on. Just saying that everybody gets shown.

Plenty of attractive fixtures in the North/South this season BT should be looking at.

Really?

In the North maybe with Stockport and FCUM but I don't really see anything in the South that BT would be interested in.
