Likewise. We need to start turning these decent performances into points.

Not sure what team we'll pick, might even be the same as against Sheffield Wednesday.

Alex Fernandez is in the 18 though.

3-0 reading, my first away game of the season. Looking forward to this even if I think we will lose. £10 for my ticket as well is class so cheers Reading!

Reading seem pretty solid at the back. If their defence is anything like Preston's wall of iron then we will struggle.

Think we'll go to enjoy tomorrow, should be an interesting game as we won't sit back. Decent (ish) away turnout will make it a bit more fun and the overpriced hotel bar will make it feel like a home game.

1-0 to the Biscuitmen probably.

There is the World turned upside down pub which is 10-15 minute walk from the Mad Stad on the Basingstoke Road which is cheaper than the Mad Stad hotel. If you are driving you can park in their car park for free as well.

I'm hoping we can get a draw here but won't be too worried as long as we play well. \in reality we haven't set anything on fire yet despite the Rotherham score so would really like to see out players gelling better.

Buy a striker or we're getting relegated...

Buy a decent striker and we'll get playoffs comfortably..

As did Birmingham, as did sheffield Wednesday.

But we've only picked up 2 points from the 3 games.

Performances are very very encouraging, but we need points on the board ASAP.

Don't think we even had a shot second half... We need a better striker than Gallagher. Church was ok. Good point, very happy with that. Carruthers and Poyet were very poor today though.

Another 20 shots at goal today. We must have had more shots than any other side in the league. I would be more concerned if we were not creating chances but as Madejski says we need a striker. However most of those shots were off target or straight forward for the MK keeper to save. We also need our wide players back. The plus side is the defence is looking very solid and we don't look like giving much away at the back. Bond still does not convince me though.

Would personally have Blackman starting in place of Robson-Kanu. Thought the cheering when Kanu was subbed in the second half was out of order but can understand it to a certain extent.

The concern though is with our upcoming fixtures at Brentford and home games against Ipswich and Derby i am struggling to see where a win will come from.

Great result for us, reading look a really decent team just missing that goal scorer if you get that you will have a very good chance this year!

What did us MK fans sound like from the home end today by the way?

Harsh on Poyet, 3 days at the club. Thought he looked ok to me, although a bit knackered at the end.

Badly missed Reeves today to give a bit invention, but defence were solid. We clearly settled at 60 minutes, a solid draw.

Agreed on the comments around Reading, think Sa's hold up play is decent, needs someone off him though. That whole back line though is impressive and I'm thinking of a way of saying it's better than Preston's wall of iron. Double iron perhaps.

Mind you, had Church not scuffed that shot.....

Fairly decent first half. Bit quieter second half but probably due to the way the game was going.

Spot on about us. Defensivly we have looked impressive so far this season. Have to say Anton Ferdinand is making me eat my words. I thought he was finished last season but now he is clear of injury and getting a run of games he has looked very good so far. Just need another striker up with Sa.

Nice touch in the away end too with last season's DVD on a loop, plus I think the bar staff were wearing MK shirts.

If Bond hadn't of made that clanger on Wednesday we would have gone 430+ minutes of competitive football without conceding. A little bit of a change from last season? :bl:

It's a good idea. Clever stuff.

Cheers for the heads up on the parking and pub, missed it though this morning sadly. Ended up at the old HP car park, a snip at £7! :eyes:

Cheers for the kind words! Always good to hear when we our support is noticed.

We generally are a decent bunch of fans and are not the satan child Eaters that we are made out to be! Good luck for the rest of the season!

We've now had the most shots of any Championship team, but only 2 goals to show for it.

And also the least shots against us of any Championship, but have conceded 3 goals in them.

Some strikers and a goalkeeper maybe?

Thanks to clubs (like Bristol City) the market for Championship strikers is absolutely fucked right now. Probably looking at £5m for an average one. That said, we have to find someone from somewhere as it can't carry on like this.

Bond isn't great as a goalie, and did spill the goal we conceded against Sheffield Wednesday. Couldn't do a lot with either of the Birmingham ones, a deflected freekick he would have covered otherwise and a well worked goal after our centreback gave the ball away.

Mixture of poor finishing and being mighty unlucky. Think we've hit the woodwork 5 times so far this season and had an effort that crossed the line disallowed. With good luck we would be on 10 points right now.

I can't wait for the game where it all clicks.. could send the other team into a real hiding. Hopefully won't have to wait too long.

Bond has looked dodgy in every game he has played for so far. Willing to give him time though because Al- Habsi did not look great at Colchester the other week.

Still need to bring in another striker but any half decent striker cost's a decent amount of money. Matej Vydra is the latest rumour although Clarke has said it is unlikly as Vydra will want to play Premier League football.

Just got off the phone to Steve, he dropped a hint that Cedric Baseya is signing tomorrow.
