The unbeaten run continues without really making up any lost ground.

I Expect PP to name the same starting XI as per last Sunday.

Brad Jones

Stephen Darby
Rory McArdle
Reece Burke
James Meredith

Mark Marshall
Gary Liddle
Lee Evans
Paul Anderson

Devante Cole
James Hanson

Trick one this one with Posh announcing a new manager. They'll all be wanting to impress, and I predict a hard fought game with us coming out marginal winners.

2-0 City - Cole and Evans' the scorers.

Well according to Westley we should make over 600 passes and have more than 25 attempts on goal...

Likely hood is that Ben Alnwick will be punting long balls to our tiny strikers who won nothing and we lose 4-0 without a shot on target.

Re Evans, he's been decent so far and impressive from dead balls. Being harsh you can say he only puts in about 45 mins to an hour before he drifts away

Also, what are his long term chances down at Wolves like?

You could probably have him permanently if you wanted. He's a decent player, but fell out with the manager in January when he tried to force a move through to Watford. We have too many midfielders in his position these days so I could see him being sold.

Is he out of contract in the summer??

Bradford fans, what did you make of Adam Reach when you had him on loan? He's supposedly Deepdale bound.

Loved him. Great player when we had him at a League 1 level. Thought he was getting game time at Boro though?

Not this season it seems, they've got Downing and some South American now.

Well, you did but that's not the issue. The issue is bringing Davies on when you snapped andersons leg and parky being parky he brings him on and we don't score and it costs me fucking 162 quid on goals galore bet,. Fucking wanker.

Not moaning about the time wasting, who doesn't when 2 up? The play acting and all that sh*t more so but a half competent ref would've seen to that - that's not to say we lost because of the referee btw, sounds like Paul Anderson has had his leg broken (we didn't even get the foul!), so cheers for that as well.
Anyway, that was dire. No movement, no threat, no urgency, no intelligent passing, Steve Davies a lump of a centre forward playing left wing, just all in all awful.

Well we have been too honest for years and years with teams doing this to us and getting rewards. So about time we showed a bit of nous.

So were Posh putting neat passes together or was it hoofball?

A lot of fannying around passing it between the defence, they might have clocked the 600+ pass target.

We were crap, can't even begin to complain about the ref or Posh's time wasting. It was probably the worst I've seen us play for a few years. Awful all over the field, can't name one player good enough to name as our man of the match. Steve Davies came with a big reputation, terrible player on today's performance.

Fair play to Peterborough though, looked half decent, especially on the break. Maddison and the no.33 very impressive for them. Maddison has a good future if he cuts out the play acting.

Why if he cuts out the play acting? I hate it as much as anyone but it will hardly affect his ability therefore his future.

Personal opinion really. Don't like all this theatrical way players go down, especially when they have a chance at continuing their run like he did today.

I'll reiterate what I've said before, Bradford have not got as good a squad as their fans seem to think. Workmanlike yes but lacking any real flair. They'll grind results out but overall I think they'll come up short

Haven't seen too many of our fans claiming any different to be honest.

Fuck off, mate, seriously.

After every poor result you chirp away with the same 'workmanlike' bollocks.

Your fans wanked themselves senseless over how fucking great you are at passing a ball 5 yards, all for you to fail miserably at VP and lose....and we were shite then too.

We do have a great squad on paper, I don't care what you say. The tactics we employ have a massive bearing on our results and overall performance. Either PP will drop Hanson and start passing the ball accordingly, or the fans will pressure the board to the point where they'll make him approach games differently, because right now, the only thing/person holding this club/team back is the management staff.

To be fair to leedsvaliant (possibly as a local can make a judgement) scrapping a 1-0 against us when we were dead on our feet after our midweek exploits hardly reflects much, I said before Bradford were my tip as dark horses to struggle and there's little to change my mind thus far.

In terms of 'great squad on paper' who exactly are you referring to? It looks fairly bang average like the majority of the division with no stand out players.

That's exactly what I'm saying. All squads in this league (Vale's included) look bang average this season. It says something when Burton are 3 points clear at the top. What I'm saying is that I see no clear evidence of massive improvements of your squad from last year, where you missed out on the play offs.

Also Firthy, I didn't 'wank myself silly' over Vale being able to pass the ball 5 yards. We've had maybe 3 really good performances this season, which is already better than last and that is what our fans are pleased about. I'm amazed that we're midtable to be honest as we've not really shown any consistency.

This league is poor, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Bradford were pushing for the play offs at the end of the season, but that's more a reflection on the state of the league than Bradford's squad.

Can't agree more than what the 2 Vale fans are saying.

Interesting that we'd be 2nd if the league was based on first half results. Something needs to be changed, whether it's a fitness thing I don't know.
