Missed the last couple of months, but it's time my favourite thread makes a return. How will you do in the penultimate month of 2015? FA Cup game to kick things off, league fixture, possible cup replay, JPT for 9 teams, a lengthy(for most) midweek fixture for 12 teams. Very tough month.

Eastleigh H(FA Cup) - Draw. Despite the morale boosting win against Sheff U, I think we'll struggle in this one. Eastleigh will be bang up for this and we historically struggle in the cup against non-league opposition. Think it'll be a draw that we could do without.

Bradford A - Lose. We usually struggle against Bradford, especially at Valley Parade. I'l happily take a point from this one.

Eastleigh A - Lose. If it does go to a replay, I can see them beating us as we are crap in Tuesday night away fixtures down south.

Peterborough H - Draw. The Posh of old seem to be back, scoring loads, conceding loads. Another very tough game. Again, I'll take a point.

Colchester A - Draw. Would like to think we could win this, but again, long away midweek trips down south don't agree with us. Again, wouldn't be too disappointed with a point.

Oldham H - Win. Our record against them at Gresty Road in recent years is shocking, law of averages says we must be due one soon. Think we might scrape out a win in this one.

So yeah, very tough month for us. Start with a tricky FA Cup, then 2 difficult league fixtures, then 2 winnable games to finish. Cup progress however we do it and 1 league defeat from 4 would represent a decent return I think.

Barnsley (H) - Unbeaten in 6, Barnsley have lost 6 on the bounce and not won in Coventry since 1923. Surely we should win here.

Northampton (H) - Don't care.

Colchester (A) - Draw here I reckon. Our away form has been average and I'd take a point.

Gillingham (H) - Win. Don't know why I think we'll win here but I have a hunch.

Bradford (A) - The one game this month that I'm going to so we better fucking win.

Doncaster (H) - Win

Eastleigh - Lose. If they come to kick us off the pitch like has been said then that's us out. They're 7th in Conference anyway, arguably above our level of performances this season.

Bradford - Lose. We'll go for a 0-0, come back with 2-0 defeat.

P'boro - Lose. Narrow defeat, late goal from that guy we had on trial. Scenes.

Colchester - Win. Just when pressure builds on Davis, we win and a no-one can remember why we were ever pissed off.

Oldham - Draw. He's turning it round.

FA Cup progress and a move up the third division table for The Mighty Railwaymen.

A very tough set of League 1 fixtures from which we very conceivably could take no points. I'll certainly be surprised if we don't enter December amongst the bottom four after these fixtures.

The FA Cup game at Gainsborough is anyone's guess. We really should get a result, but we have developed a nasty habit of losing these type of games in recent times so a win for Gainsborough wouldn't be a surprise.

Not a bad set of fixtures on paper but imagine we won't lose our home games, but won't win our away games as per the first 16 fixtures pretty much.

Quite a busy month ahead for us.

Blackpool (h) - tomorrow night. Our game in hand. Win and we're up to 9th.

Aldershot (a) - FA Cup on a Sunday. Potential banaskin, but aren't they always? I think we'll draw and bring em back to VP.

Crewe (h) - We seem to do alright at home against Crewe. They were probably the worst side I saw last season, and looking at the current table, it would appear that they haven't improved much either.

Scunthorpe (a) - tricky one this. I can't remember us ever winning there. Come to think of it, when did we last beat them.....if ever?

Coventry (h) - Another team we do pretty well against at VP. Always has a big game feel to it, and with Cov doing alright so far this campaign, they might even bring a plausible number of fans. ;)

Walsall (a) - Very tricky fixture. However, I do have a sneaky feeling we might get something here.

Overall, a very tough month ahead. I think the first two league games (Pool and Crewe), we need to bringing home maximum points. This would place is nicely around the playoffs. Then we have three tricky fixtures against teams doing very well this season.

My prediction:

Blackpool - Win
Crewe - Win
Scunny - Lose
Coventry - Draw
Walsall - Draw

We must also get past Aldershot in the cup, but I do think it'll be decided at VP with a replay.

8 points from 15 and still in the FA Cup second round draw, I'd take that.

100% record so far and very confident of Coulibaly scoring one of Peterborough's goals on Saturday. Should have gone for bonus points on which excuse Davis will use.

Well, I predicted a cup exit, got it.

Thought we'd get 5 league points, got 6. So happy enough with that return.

Fair play to Timey on this call though:

Eastleigh - Lose. If they come to kick us off the pitch like has been said then that's us out. They're 7th in Conference anyway, arguably above our level of performances this season.

Other than the narrow defeat to Posh and result against Oldham, he got this month pretty spot on.

Bang on except we won one of the away games! Cup progression, TV money and 9 points I guess I have to be happy with that.

2 wins and 2 draws in the league and through to the JPT semi-final, happy with that. Not too bothered about losing in the FA Cup, could actually be a blessing in disguise and see some of our injured players back sooner with us not having a game next weekend.

6 points from 12. I didn't go to Peterborough so can't comment. Good wins against Swindon and Millwall. We battered Blackpool but somehow they won with no shots on target.
