Have they definitely confirmed another season after this? Because the more I watch, the less I can see where the show goes from here. I don't see how they can return to the dynamic of the show that was so successful for the first few seasons.

Yes, the ratings are superb for it's channel (Always top of the night/sometimes the week) and they are staying consistent. It was the first time that the show was renewed for a further season, only 2-3 episodes into this one (over 6 months ago) so the writers/TV are very high on it. Not surprised, it's just getting better by the season.

FWIW, for a show to have longevity, they need to change things up after a certain period of time and disbanding the current firm, for one owned by Harvey, consulted by Mike and including Louis/Donna/Rachel is the way they will go. They have already hinted at Jessica retiring in some manner and she is widely regarded as the dullest/least favourite of the main cast, she wouldn't be a great loss.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad there's another series. If anything I was more concerned that they'd see the end of the 'Mike saga' as a natural end point to the show.

Your prediction seems perfectly plausible. In fact I can't really think of an alternative. I'll be interested to see what else they do with the show once Mike's situation has been resolved. The success of the show is obviously mostly down to the chemistry between the two main characters, but Mike's secret has played a huge part in shaping the show and it'll be interesting to see how they progress once that's all resolved.

Indeed, although I read an alternative online last night which isn't a bad shout. It all conspires against Mike, he ends up getting convicted and just as he is being taken away to prison, someone offers him a lifeline, whereby despite being convicted, showing he is such a good lawyer that he ends up having to work for the government for free and the next series is spent about trying to worm his way out and back into the free world. Which of course, he would/will.

That's an interesting take, although I'd say it's less likely than your original suggestion.

It'd be significantly more difficult to integrate Mike with the other main characters in that scenario.

Do you think the Mike situation will be resolved by the end of this season?

Will the season end on a cliffhanger or will be know if Mike gets away with it? Will there be a final conclusion to this storyline?

Yes, there will be a resolution to this issue by the end of the season. There is sort of a cliffhanger, maybe two. There's one thing that may be unexpected and then there's another thing that's hopefully unexpected and could be considered a cliffhanger, but it's certainly a twist. That's how I would describe it. It's not necessarily like Mike getting arrested that big of a cliffhanger. I hope it packs a punch

Could you imagine if the end of the season was 'we find the defendant......'

Shit would hit the roof

Has the season finale already been aired in the US?

Louis will be setting her up there, no way he would just hand himself and ditch the firm, despite the pressure. He will be leading her into some sort of trap or rule whereby she can't use the evidence he gives and he gets away with immunity so the firm still has something to stand on after the trial? No way he properly ditches Mike/Harvey in as the show won't work without his character involved with them somehow - and that doesn't include being at an opposing firm.

Nope. March 2nd is the Finale.

:ohm:. ffs Louis.

That's looks awesome. I fail to accept Louis is betraying Harvey and Mike. He's on a secret undercover operation or something.

100% imo, they'll tease it up until the last moment and his big hurrah will be him sticking two fingers up at her and putting his neck on the line for the firm.

Just finished this. The more I think about it, the more happy I am with how it all worked out. The only thing is where do they go with S6, it all feels so well rounded and really such a natural ending for all the character's stories that I wonder where they take it from here. I just hope they don't because of the show's success drag it out past its sell by date.

They'll skip 2 years until Mike gets out of prison, I guess. Maybe they'll focus on the rebuild of PSL, getting them back up to a top law firm again?Rachel as Harvey's new associate. What happens with Mike though? There's surely no way he could ever be a lawyer again.

And I'm so relieved they didn't end with some contrived bullshit. Half way through I was worried they were going to end with Gibbs bursting in to the wedding ceremony going "Awww you're so beautiful together! You know what, I'll let you off. Go, be happy, live your lives " And they'd all have a big tearful embrace and ride off into the sunset

Mike will be in prison in S6, my guess he ends up in the same prison as Forstman

Harvey, either back at PSL or acting independently due to the deal he had with Forstman.

Oh yeah, I'd clean forgot Harvey had even left or that whole deal with Forstman! That'd be an intersting dynamic

They've said they won't jump ahead in time. The first episode of s6 is Mike's first night in jail.

I'm going to wait until it's on Dave on Sunday. Hope they manage to sustain the quality from the last season.
