I don't even think Leeds can bottle this one, although they will try

Warnock back in football replacing Woodgate at Boro.

Now there is a man who would have been fed up stuck at home !

Bit concerned it will al be over bar the shouting for us by the end of today, especially if there are a similar set of results from those around us to last week. With Leeds coming up we could really do with a shithoused win from somewhere today but cant see it after a completely ineffectual outing going forward last week.

First 3 games were all about keeping in touch and even if we get a point or something, other results might dictate that that isnt good enough.

Well did not expect that! Massive result and performance, thought by and large we looked comfortable and far slicker in attack than last week.

Elliott Lee was fantastic for his time on the pitch and then change to bring on Brown gave us that bit of quality to get the goal. Great cross and fantastic header from Collins to beat 2 men to the ball for the header.

Great stuff.

Bring on Leeds!

Since Feb 12, 8 games, 4 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat = 15 points. Great form!

The bottom getting rather cramped.

Up to 15th/16th will be worried.

And aren't Sheffield Wednesday potentially due a points deduction?

Unfortunately that one defeat was a huge game against Charlton. I still think about that game and that Collins goal being ruled out, if it had counted we could be where they are right now and looking odds on to stay up. Ah well.

To the point though, really think playing with an actual proper defensive midfield player since Rea has come back in has really changed things for us. Not saying Rea is an amazing player who has single handedly turned us around, its just we have a far more balanced look to us with him around and the results have turned since he has been back and properly fit again.

A lot was made of us not really recruiting replacements for the fullbacks but a massive loss from last season was McCormack, with Rea long term injured we really should have looked for someone there even just a loan from somewhere whilst Rea got fit again rather than putting people like Tunnicliffe and Pelly there.

Tactically today i though NJ was spot on, something you could rarely say for GJ. Mentality wise he seems to be more positive and motivational as well, some very interesting comments coming from Lee today about what he thought of GJ as well.

Rea pulls up injured in the warm up tonight.

If that keeps him out for any other games I think that’s us down. Sounds hyperbolic but he’s been key to us looking balanced at this level. A massive blow.

Sheffield Wednesday haven't paid all their players.

Huddersfield and Stoke showing what can happen if you go down from the Premier league and not prepared for the Championship.

Warning for us if we do go down.

Leeds have broken the rules. They had a fourth sub "interval" during the game - they made one at half time, two in the second half and one in the first half. But Luton also made one at half time, meaning that counts as an opportunity for both teams.

I think its a shit rule and don't understand the logic - and seemingly the four match officials didn't too.

Whats the logic behind having it that way? By that I mean if both teams sub at half time that means it counts as a "window". Seems a bit odd to me?

Wigan into administration.

Very sudden.

Something happened we don't know about?

Guess it's Coronavirus related.

First of a few potentially.

I kid you not, but the three promoted clubs are going to be charged £8m each to join the Premier League according to The Guardian.

Our game vs Huddersfield next week moved from Saturday afternoon to Friday night for sky. Also means that the Barnsley game now kicks off at 6 rather than 745 - not sure that’s going to make a great deal of difference but...

Not ideal to have 2 such key games so close together but nature of the way the season is being finished I guess.

Hull beating Middlesbrough brings Boro back into it a little bit but not a great result from our point of view.

We are doing our bit so far results wise but pretty much none of the results of those around us have gone our way since the restart!

Saturdays game against Reading really is must win as are the 2 after that really.

Hull v Middlesbrough was absolutely diabolical. Then in the 92nd minute, a player which was on loan only until today at Hull from relegation threatened Barnsley pops up and scores a winner.

A huge moment in the relegation fight for all teams.

It feels like a promotion race at the moment with so many teams picking up points at the bottom.

Barnsley have got form for bizarrely letting Close league rivals take players off them.
