    Fri 19th/Sat 20th fixtures

If it’s of any comfort, I took my six year old daughter to her first game last season on the last game v Forest Green when there was a strong chance we’d be relegated. We haven’t been relegated for 19 years now so not something we’re used to either so it was very brave. But it all turned out...

    Welcome Wrexham and Stockport.

    Congrats Mansfield.

Congratulations Pompey, fully deserved. Done your time in the doldrums too, hope you go on and establish yourself back in the championship though I do think you’ll need a good summer.

    Tuesday 16 April fixtures

Well we bottled ours as well, had a shocking performance and deservedly lost. Cheltenham winning was a bummer too but Vale losing probably puts us out of reach of them. So just got to finish above one of Burton and Cheltenham now. Edit: Congrats Pompey

    Tuesday 16 April fixtures

Vale fans are going to like this… but I think they’ll beat Wycombe and that’ll put the cat right amongst the pigeons. Can see Burton/Chelts being a draw with us not doing any better at Brovers. Then Shrews to lose at Bolton. I’m going for this at close of play: Cambridge 43 47 Shrewsbury 44 46...

    Welcome Wrexham and Stockport.

Congrats and welcome to both. Aside from the Mullin thing, one of my best mates is a long term Wrexham fan (he protested outside Hamilton’s house back in the day iirc haha). So it’s great to have them join us next season. Our relegations and time in the conference bore a lot of similarities...

    Sat 13 April fixtures

I don’t believe it is “the worst league 1 bottom 4 in many years”. That’s a narrative that some on this forum have latched on to and it has turned from opinion into some sort of “pseudo-fact”. In reality, it was appalling last season and the year before, and I would offer that it was just as...

Good point that, particularly after the first half. Edging closer to safety. Nathan Jones can add himself to the list, that includes Louis Van Gaal, of people who don’t think we’ve got a good pitch despite the fact it’s like a bowling green. Oaf.

New EFL deal from next season

Sky haven’t shown Wrexham anymore than anyone else this season in fairness. BBC jumped on the bandwagon in the FA Cup though.

    Tues 9th/Wed 10th April fixtures

I think all of us towards the bottom (except Cheltenham fans of course) are celebrating that Carlisle win!

    Tues 9th/Wed 10th April fixtures

I can’t want a Boro win but I certainly don’t want Vale coming away with three points either. Can’t they both lose?! I think Cheltenham will beat Carlisle so I’m expecting it all to be a bit squeakier at close of play on Wednesday. I’m ignoring Fleetwood at the moment. It would be an epic run...

800 is about right - I saw that number mentioned somewhere on Saturday. And as you say, we’d sold 750 in advance. Blackpool don’t seem to have released an away figure.

Blatant dive, agree he should be banned for that.

This pretty much sums it up. We all thought today was going to be tough and so it proved. We gave it a go but only came close to equalising once and we didn’t take the chance. Results elsewhere went well for us so we still need just the one win to get safe.

Yeah I think Northampton have won it - congrats! Exeter can still go down as Cheltenham, Vale and everyone up from there can still catch them.

No way, I’m not counting my chickens yet. Two defeats and we’re right back in it!

The only thing that might work against you is that game in hand you have against us. You might still be able to reach the play offs while others can’t. The perils of having international call ups. I’m going for Wigan or Exeter.

That Lincoln run is ridiculous isn’t it and the next two look more than winnable too (Reading and Wigan). Wouldn’t fancy anyone playing them in the play offs at the moment, I guess only risk is they have peaked too soon.

Think they said something like 518 Wigan at the Abbey.

    1st/2nd April Fixtures

Solid but very important win. We didn’t set the world alight and only had a handful of attacks but we scored three good goals. The free kick for the third was a proper screamer. Think we’re now one win away from safety.
