No chance I'm taking that, Maguire was crap after he came back from injury last season. Plus he'll probably tear both hamstrings riding a bike or summat day before season starts.

Better than Diedhiou mate - your words not mine.

Maguire was absolute class before his succession of injuries, I'd take that Maguire over Diedhiou but remains to be seen if he'll ever get back to that.

Completely different players though, Diedhiou is closer to Hugill in terms of his role in the team.

I fancy Stockley to bag a decent amount but won't be betting on it.

I'd agree with that.

I like Maguire anyway, wouldn't argue with someone saying he's better than Diedhiou, just thought it was worth a bet given Tom's opinion on the two.

Think he has a similar problem to what Owen had where his hamstrings are so fucked that it effects his acceleration, whether that's a mental thing or if he's physically lost the burst of speed I don't know.

His sharpness in front of goal was missing a bit too but that's common after a lengthy lay-off.

Either way, big player for us if we can get him back on track.
