I'll take that.

What makes you think that?
Good man :brill:

He's on his last chance this season I reckon, fairly sure he was close to being booted this summer, and there are still huge holes in his team (which could change by the time they kick off, of course). Could go 1 of 2 ways.

1. His signings gel well early on and they challenge/make top 4. Rodgers stays.

2. They don't. FSG take another look at the money he's invested (£300mil by the end of this summer probably) without any progress and decide it's time to try something new.

Basically, if he has another sub-par season and misses out on the CL, I can't see Liverpool showing him any more patience given the huge investment, and nor should they. The only time he's achieved (if you can call throwing the title away an achievement) is when he had one of the top 3 form players in the world carrying his side.

Hopefully Firmino flops or silly bollocks plays him as a number 9 :gr:

Edit: And by "before next season" I mean before the 2016/17 season. In other words he'll lose his job because of his perfomance during the upcoming season (2015/16).

I like your reasoning and I like betting on positive things for Liverpool as I win either way.
