Hello my dear Championship comrades (shut up Rammy)

Today we've seen the top ten Championship players, as voted by the 24 managers. Some of which had probably only been in a job for a few games when the vote was taken (knowing these things, it will have been back in January)

Let's forget that, and do this ourselves. I would like you to PM me with your best 5 players (in order) of the season, and we'll have our own top ten, and of course a winner.

You can not vote for a player from your own team. Deadline to be determined.

Player of the Season
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Is there a limit on the amount of players from your own club you can vote for? Might just turn into a contest of how many fans are on here.

After posting that top ten earlier, I was trying to think of the best way of doing this. I figured a decent way would be to have one representative from each club to list 10 (?) players that have performed best against them this season. That way, if a player features a lot it actually means they've played well against a few teams rather than say 100 Derby fans unintentionally manipulating the result because someone (who might have been shit against everyone else) played well against them. To get people involved, the fans of each club could confer until they come up with what they deem the most accurate. Only problem maybe being that not every club is represented on here?

Also, it'd eliminates any potential mass voting for your own

Good point. I posted that without much thought really. People will always vote for their own players out of bias, even if in some cases I'm sure it's deserved. However, will have to be a case of you can't vote for any player from your own club.

Yeah, there's a small number of clubs with no fans. Blackpool not Kurt has gone, Wigan?, Middlesbrough, Fulham.

What about if we vote for the best player we've seen from each of the other 23 clubs?

That way you should get a fair reflection of the top 5 players even without Wigan, Boro etc fans input and will also determine who fans think has been the best player for each side.

Maybe a little more long winded and probably an obvious flaw I've missed somewhere.
