Thought I'd start the thread to gain some interest etc but no start date yet...no limits on people as it's a team game and the amount of teams/number of people in the teams will be sorted out when numbers are confirmed.

The schedule is also something that will be confirmed upon having a starting date.

The simple premise is that teams will be rewarded for being on the winning side of genuine, real life sporting events. Many of these will be weekend based but there could also be examples that span through the week as well. In order to gain an advantage come gameday, games will be carried out on the forum in the days preceding the event. Obviously these will work around when I can play them but they will be in a similar style to the games seen in the gameshow marathon, survivor etc. Teams may win the opportunity to pick first, gain more picks or other advantages to help them succeed in being on the right side of the sporting event.

A wide breadth of sports will be included to give a bit of variety and use different expertise that you may have within your team. Expect to see football, golf, horse racing, formula one and plenty of others.

Points will be scored from each event and at the end of the calendar schedule, the team with the most cumulative points will win 1FF Grandstand.

Don't want to step on the toes of the current games going on but we'll see how the sign ups go and will try work out a suitable start time.

So down for this. Sounds great.

Also, will Wrestling be involved, or is that too manly a sport for this?
