Is there a set date for their release? With it being the Conference I imagine it'll be August 1st or something.

Which fixtures are you looking forward to? Are there any half decent away grounds?

My interest has really wained in recent years due to all of the shit going on and being miles from everywhere, but even so I was surprised to note I've only been to 4 of the 22 grounds we'll be heading to next year. Not bothered to get a ST this year either, such is my lack of enthusiasm.

As you can tell, I really can not wait.

I guarantee we will play either Harrogate or BPA over the Xmas period!

For some reason, we never get to play our nearest (geographical) rivals. Last year I think it was Stockport vs Harrogate and Salford vs BPA.

Go figure?!

my 1 prediction is Dover v barrow last game of the season
since promotion on that day we've had FGR-away / FGR-home / Barrow away so the pattern says Barrow-home

police probably.

it would make much sense to have Curzon Vs Stockport over christmas and new year....easy to get to by bus, train or car.

problem is Stockport at home is pretty much only game where Curzon need segregation and police.

I think they could go with Stockport Vs Salford and Curzon Vs FCUM, Curzon/FCUM have a very friendly fan approach and can mix easily so no need for worries police wise and Salford/stockport can financially cover any police costs, plus both next season can easily segregate.

We started and finished last season at home, would expect one or both to be reversed this time. I'm guessing we'll open up with a trip to Halifax or Fylde.

Maybe fylde but certainly not us away. We have always had one of the most southern teams away on the first game and I expect it again with Torquay away. In 2013/14 we got Cambridge away, in 2014/15 we got Dover away, in 2015/16 we got boreham wood away and in 2016/17 we got Nuneaton away (one of the furthest away days in the conference north). Though, no matter who we get I'll be there:ds:

Only 6 new grounds for me: Fylde, Solihull, Guiseley, Torquay, Halifax and Hartlepool.

I'd imagine we'll have Bromley over Christmas while Dover play Maidstone, although Orient is also doable on Boxing day with the HS1 running.

A fair few local games for us this season, pretty pleased with that, although I'm just glad to be rid of Shitehawk and Concord fucking Rangers.

There is only one game I'm actually looking forward to, and that is a trip to Orient. Would love an opening day up there.

Buzzing for the inevitable Tuesday night trip to Truro. That will sort out the men from the boys.

Hope we get orient away on a saturday, not been down there for years. Not been to hartlepool for years due to factors explained elsewhere on this site so i need to break my hartlefast too.

Maidenhead should be an interesting one as it was at prenton park that the media realised that jeremy corbyn was a force to be reasoned with it will be a pleasure abusing them about their local mp, fylde.... cannot be arsed, fax i will deffo go to proper club who we always seem to get something against , ebbsfleet is a maybe if its autumn or spring then maybe , if its in the depths of winter probably not

Could be wrong, but the opening day games are usually long-distance games (which makes sense really as its better than having them in the winter or on a Tuesday night). I have a gut feeling that we'll get Hartlepool home or away

Our fixtures came out today and I'd almost forgotten how few Tuesday night games you have in the EFL.

5 for us all season (short trips away at Swindon and FGR being two...) and last season we'd had 5 by the end of October!

The Southern half of the league works itself out but the unwritten Chester/Wrexham/Tranmere 'must not play each other' rule complicates the North.

Reckon it'll be:
Hartlepool v Gateshead
Barrow v Guiseley
Tranmere v Halifax
Chester/Wrexham v Macc/Fylde

Hartlepool/Tranmere/Wrexham away would be good for starters, although we'll probably get Solihull at home.

Orient away on the opening day for us, and a narrow 0-1 defeat to a bunch of teenagers.

Wouldn't mind Halifax over Christmas period for a change. I'm away first weekend in August, so hope it's an away game.
Been to Pools and Orient, who were my home side when I lived in London. Don't see myself getting to many southern fixtures. Might go to Fylde if not a midweeker.

Just the 18 possible new grounds for me this season, so I predict we'll be away at one of the ones I've been to about five times (Dagenham or Tranmere).

With the fixtures out tomorrow - Can someone give a rough idea when BT will announce any TV games please?

What with us being big shots down here, I'm expecting us to be on TV and don't fancy paying £80 to travel to Barrow, only to be told the kick off has changed due to BT Sports :bdick:;)

Last season it was about a week after the fixtures came out. They generally announce them in 2 month or so batches through the season.

Torquay vs Tranmere first game.

We've got Fylde home boxing day, and away new years day.

Finish the season at home to Hartlepool.
