Genuinely not heard of any of them apart from the Plymouth fella. Why do you think I would have?
Fair point....The only Swindon player i knew was Doyle
You didn't have to put up with a fortnight of them trying to poach our manager. Every Twitter thread or forum post hijacked by teenagers telling us our stadium is shit and their director was in Pink Floyd.
Money !

So those Bolton fans are actually bragging about the owner being friends with a member of Pink Floyd? Jesus. What a comedown from the Premiership years.

Devil’s advocate here. I can understand Bolton’s excitement after years of not just failure but teetering on the brink of extinction. If the club is, indeed, now on even keel they are bound to be looking forward to a season at long last.

The irksome thing is that they, almost to a man , think it’s a given.
They only won the league one title three years ago.

No Sheffield utd did....we went up as runners up

Why did crawford not make it at Donny ?
He was pretty decent, just a standard league one player really but we had a very good squad that season. He’ll do very well in league two

Yes we splashed the cash to get Evatt on board, but why would you not,
Hmmmmmmm, maybe...just maybe, you would not do that if you just got relegated and almost went bust because your club is an absolute basket case?

28,OOOO State of the art stadium.....40 Acre £10m modern training facilities. New wealthy owners. New forward thinking manager. Last years lge 2 top scorer signed on. Good crop of young under 21 players coming through.

That is the Bolton of 20/21

Nothing like the Bolton of the last six or seven years.

Best stadium in lge 2 by a country mile....You are the one who called my club a basket case

I have just explained the Bolton of today to you.

You already have us down to finish last with a pathetic -30 points deduction.......you are either taking the piss

Or you really are clueless.

Depends what you like about a stadium. Personally, I'm more of an old-skool/interesting character kind of guy and not so much a fan of the soulless Lego bowl, so I'd have to respectfully diasgree with your sentimenent that the Reebok/Macaroni/Bolton Uni or whatever it is called this season Stadium is the best in the division.

My thoughts about your clubs continual and recklessly irresponsible attitude towards expenditure is closer to being the general consensus in this division than yours too, so I'd get used to people calling you up on it.

We paid money for Evatt 250k....Not spent a penny more.

We are under a transfer embargo and cannot pay fees.
We will adhere to the coming salary cap.
We can pay good wages to a few incoming players, but even that is set at a low ceiling.

Let me ask you this ...Are you not overspending on average crowds under 5000?

Bolton have their own Devon Lad!

Went when we had a basket case season a few years back and signed a load of foreigners from the lower leagues across Europe.

It’s an alright stadium, ridiculously expensive (£7 to park the car on a gravel strip!) expensive tickets at the time and we were fucking woeful and 3-0 down in 15 minutes with one of our worst signings of the last three seasons scoring a stunner for them. It’s typically Lego though and could argue not as modern or good as say MK Dons facilities wise etc for example

Did console myself with the fact to be fair even in league one they had one player on more than pretty much our full XI that day.

Interesting to see how they will do, expect they will challenge and should do but as Pompey shown it isn’t as easy as turning up and will be a club most teams probably really get themselves up for playing against.

It’s a club that’s been a complete mess and is lucky to even be playing at all after their recent problems. Hard to have full sympathy with their overspending but need to get and keep their house in order.

A good honest review...Never paid for parking but i guess that is just knowing the area well.
The ticket pricing for away fans was horrendous. Thankfully our new owners are more forward thinking.
We proberbly had half of our team on vastly over paid contracts.
Thankfully the new Bolton has learned from past errors.

No, we pretty much break even every single season nowadays. We're a plc so the financial records are on the Town website for all to download and read.

A stadium that has to share with a retail park will never be a nice stadium. Its well known for being called the breezeblock.
