Has any other club announced anything yet?

Aldershot have been pushing an early bird price of £306 to stand and £338 to sit (£345 and £382 after 8th May!)

Seems insane for me when people are out of work and it sounds like the season won’t start until January.

Anyone else?

£382 unless you buy in the next fortnight, bloody hell, what price were they last year?

Our lot didn't want to talk about next season until they were certain when it was going to be.

£360 for a seat after early bird/reprieve!

I had a sneaking suspicion that most clubs are waiting to see what the situation will be before asking for money. Let alone hiking the prices up.

I think it's disgusting that teams are offering STs for next season when there's no guarantee that the season will even commence or be completed in full. People have been laid off or furloughed and to be given deadlines to buy early bird STs is just wrong.

Dorking have also been promoting their season cards and having heard their owner/manager has been trying to poach players from other clubs in our league already, that's just loathsome.

Your first point is bang on the money.

I want one, of course, but I’m currently on furlough and have no guarantees of keeping my job once we go back to “normal” so buying one is out of the question at the moment.

By the time I’ll know if I’m in a position to buy one there will absolutely no value in it with the post early bird prices, plus I don’t expect the National League to kick off for a very long time.

I feel like they’re trying to plug a cash flow problem, but of course if they take the ST money now it’ll only move the issue as the money will have all gone by the time the season actually starts.

You could blow £200 or whatever the price is and only get a handful of games.
Nonsense that anyone would even consider buying a ST.
Unless they are loaded and want to help out their club.

I'd do it for Wrexham if our board resigned and constitutional changes were made.

Aldershot could go bust with a pricing structure like that, damn.

Aldershot have got to be up there with the most expensive at this level, maybe ever?!

What's that money even being spent on? Much of their squad is NL South standard. Very poor value for money.

League One prices to watch Conf South football in a ground that’s 30 years out of date.

Then people wonder why attendances are on their arse.

We announced ours on March 14th
£169 for adults as an early bird offer which was meant to end on Thursday but has been extended to the end of May. Full price will be £199
Concession (60+ or those on Job Seekers allowance) £139 early bird £169 full price
Young person (19-23) £99 early bird £119 full price
Student £69 early bird £89 full price
Junior (11-18) £35
Child (10 and under) free

We also announced a 5 year season ticket for £799 and an executive membership (which essentially seems to be pre-match lunch, seats in the directors box and access to the boardroom) for £79

I bought my season ticket for next season. Mind you they are a lot cheaper than most in this division. Its my way of helping my club in these difficult times.

I’m guessing they have no benefactor pumping money in hence the need to charge those prices to keep up with stupid wages most clubs have to pay for a mediocre footballer at this level.

That’s all about to change though, players will be begging for a salary this season, if there is a season.

Our MD announced the other day no season tickets will be sold until a date for the new season is confirmed. I’m guessing he knows something about it being a long way of from now given he has been on the conference board for many years.

Our takeover has stalled so we've heard nothing. I said i'd buy one if the takeover goes through and i'm happy to stump up to help the club financially in the short term.

Because when your club only breaks even, it's got no more gate revenue to come, your season ticket gives you 8 "free" games and you've already had 5, REAL FANS DON'T ASK FOR THEIR MONEY BACK.

Sure, your season ticket was offered at a price, you accepted it in good faith that the club would provide the 23 games you expected, You can think of it like ordering a pizza if you like, and it comes with a slice missing- you can demand the missing slice or your money back but real fans don't think investing in a season ticket is the same thing as ordering a pizza, REAL FANS DON'T ASK FOR THEIR MONEY BACK.

You have the law on your side, you have a contract with the club and the club have broken the contract, you could take the club to court to get your money back, and you'd undoubtedly win, but REAL FANS DON'T ASK FOR THEIR MONEY BACK.

It really comes down to, real fans want their clubs to prosper, real fans make will make sacrifices to help their club survive, REAL FANS DON'T ASK FOR THEIR MONEY BACK.

Thanks for asking, but real fans don't have to. :ds:

Ok clearly triggered there but you said the club have offered ST holders refunds so this isn't about fans demanding refunds or taking the club to court. If you've been struggling financially due to coronavirus and then you get an email asking if you'd like a bit of money back for your season ticket then you can't blame those people who take up the offer.

Also while it's a free country and you can rant about real fans all you like, you suggested the supporters club were to expel anyone who takes up that offer which goes beyond ranting on the Internet and is more than a little harsh.

Kings Lynn making Aldershot's prices look like a steal

They won't need to worry about enforcing social distancing measures with them type of prices.

Not even like they have the excuse Aldershot have of being in the London area with high prices. Kings Lynn is (from what I've heard) one of those shitholes like nearby Boston.

He also had a scuffle with an investigative journalist:

And had a takeover bid for a team in Gibraltar blocked after failing integrity checks:
