Away form is going to cost us a PO place, without doubt.

Need 3 points against Chester now.

Tomlinson misses a one-on-one.

Unusually wasteful today!

Just seen that, prior to today, Macclesfield had only scored 40 in 30 games. But they've only conceded 27.

Very solid.

Yeah we just like defending! Got a very solid unit but then players who can quickly carry it 40 yards like Moke which then let's the likes of Turnbull, Whitaker, Fairhurst, MBH etc get it down and play further up field.

John Akinde gets his customary goal for Barnet and Ross Hannah doubles Grimsby's lead.

Fair enough Macc, very clinical. Hope you win the play offs.

Moyses needs to take a different approach to away games, starting at Chester on Tuesday.

Good 3 points against a struggling side finally, made the Barnet win all the sweeter. Eastleigh up next, important we win that.

Just got in from the gym and buzzing with that! Any of you guys listen to it how did it play out?
Kidderminster dropping points is great news for us. Always a worry with games in hand as it isn't points on the board but nice to be level with Bristol now! Its good to be macc!!

91st min drama at Holbeach:

Diamonds now playing with 3 at the back concede a goal, but it's given offside. Ball goes up the other end and in to the net as Dunkley flicks over the 'keeper to make it 1-1. Moments after the restart Confue gets sent off to put Diamonds down to 10 men.

Finished Holbeach 1 - 1 AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

8 point gap, but 4 games in hand for the hosts. Added to the fact some awful fixture scheduling has us finishing our season on April 6th right now...

Pretty much nothing happened first half apart from our goal. Bully then really took control of the midfield and we got it out to Moke a lot more in 2nd, he skinned Newton over and over again. And as said above, we just got more clinical.

That was a good strong finish from us after a dodgy opening 20 minutes of the second half. Each of our second half goals were different, showing that we can vary our play and use the full qualities of our team. That should give us confidence after our results at Lincoln and Grimsby.

That was a very good win for us today against a very good team (apart from a very dodgy keeper). A point was all I was expecting and we should have had a rare penalty when loanee centre forward Oliver McBurnie was bundled over as he went up for a header, which looked a goal all the way. Can't wait for Lincoln on Tuesday.

70 goals for Barnet after 32 games, fair play to that!

I have to say that I think 3-0 flattered us quite a lot. For at least the first 60 minutes Lincoln were the only team playing any football. Our defence were solid so we stopped them creating many chances, but our midfielders were treating the ball like it had Ebola on it and must be given to the opposition as soon as possible. Still we were very efficient at stabbing the ball in from two yards so it's three more points.

That was a game of two halves, we dominated the first half and got ourselves in front whilst Kiddy fought back and bossed the second half. Had to dig in a bit and needed Worsnop a few times late on, but overall a much improved performance and a big win which was overdue.

Good game today and it was only thanks to 2 unbelievable saves from Worsnop in stoppage time that gave us the three points.

First half I think we dominated as we kept the ball down and passed it around. Kiddy LB and RB couldn't cope with Matty Hughes and Craig Mahon. Great finish from Mahon for our goal. Second Half was completely different - for some reason we just decided to hoof it up towards the strikers and unsurprisingly it came straight back at us and put us under pressure.

Overall I think a draw would have been a fair result. Wasn't very impressed with Kiddy but got the impression they were having a bad day at the office. The Keeper (Lewis?) was dreadful and we should have tested him a lot more.

The thing I'm most pleased about today though is that Wright chose Kidderminster over us. He makes Chris Iwelumo look nimble - he's bloody awful.

Good win, don't know how it went but two goals for two strikers and a clean sheet is as good as you could ask for. Nice to see Hannah show us he's not actually useless and for Watson to get another 20 seconds on the pitch.

Not sure what the answer is for us when playing away.

We can't contain teams, so it's pointless setting up like that and the two full backs are better going forward than defending so that effectively leaves us with the two CB's and Adams who have a defensive mentality.

It'd take a personnel switch to change things, but none of what we'd require is available within the squad.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Weren't you in good form before this?

I've only seen Macc beat Lincoln once. They only do it when I'm not there.
