FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round day. I'm gonna try and keep this relatively brief as there's a shit ton of games on. Northwich Victoria vs Chorley kick things off on Friday, ensuring one tinpot team will be in the 1st Round before a ball is kicked on Saturday.

Current National League leaders Forest Green go to Margate in the lunchtime kick off. BT Sport won the race to televise this one, beating off the competition. Elsewhere, the other 23 NLP teams kick off at 3pm..:

Gateshead vs Worcester
AFC Fylde vs Barrow
Wrexham
vs Gainsborough
Harrogate vs Grimsby
Salford vs Southport
Halifax vs Guiseley
Tranmere vs Lincoln

Stourbridge vs Kidderminster
Macclesfield
vs Alfreton
Altrincham vs Chester
Maidenhead vs Woking
Basingstoke vs Torquay
Boreham Wood
vs AFC Hornchurch
Eastbourne vs Dover
Aldershot
vs Sutton
Bromley vs Eastleigh
Braintree
vs Harlow
Havant & Waterlooville vs Cheltenham
Grays vs Welling [Sunday]

Are you going to your teams game? Saturday is my first away game since Brizzle R last New Years; part down to the fact we are miles from everywhere + also the fact we have been shit. However, I saw enough last weekend to end the away day drought and experience Basingstoke for the first time. What shall I expect?

Also, special mention to Sporting Khalsa, who host FC United, and AFC Rushden & Diamonds who travel to Barwell.

Tranmere 5-2 Lincoln.

GTF to score a hat-trick before being subbed off to a standing ovation from all four sides of the ground in the 37th minute cos he's fucking knackered.

Rhead and McNulty to battle it off in the Man vs Food half-time challenge.

Nice Match Thread Yellow.

I will be at Moss Rose for sure. Love the FA Cup!!

Hoping we can enact a measure of revenge for our 2003/4 defeat to Macclesfield at the same stage

Hard to believe we took 727 away fans to that game!? Completely true.

Shows just how many fans we have lost over recent years.

Its all about how we defend. We will create chances and I fancy us to score. (We have only failed to score twice this season) But to counter that we have only kept 2 clean sheets and look a little brittle at the back. Both teams defended terribly in the previous record v Hednesford and we conceded poor goals against a Boston United side who never looked like scoring two if we played till midnight.

If we are still in the hat come Saturday at 5pm I will be delighted!

I managed to get one our initial allocation of 300 tickets so I shall be at Stourbridge. They've finished their general sale and so have given us an additional 105 tickets which go on sale tomorrow morning.

No idea what to expect but surely we can't lose this one. Surely? :err:

Karl Hawley plays for Stourbridge now. If you can keep him quiet I think you will be fine

£10 in for adults on Saturday, sensible pricing from our club. We have a fair few "big game" players so if we get past Lincoln we may go on a bit of a cup run. On the flip side, going out would mean the old cliche of being able to "concentrate on the league" which is where the real prize/money is for us.

As a really bad fan I won't be going to Margate but will enjoy the game in the comfort of my own home with several other Rovers fans, all hoping for an easy win (but expecting a tricky replay) then a decent home draw in the First Round Proper. There are a few tasty pairings in this round, given a choice I would either head for Stourbridge or Maidenhead for what are essentially local derbies, but with potential for a bit of a shock if the home team win. If I wanted a game based purely on form and quality I would probably choose the games at Bromley or Tranmere, both should provide an entertaining game.

They've also got ex-Harrier, Port Vale, Burton, Woking, and Cheltenham striker Justin Richards who was pretty handy for us a few years back.

The other thing I'm not sure about is how many of our loanees are allowed to play for us this weekend. I would suspect that some of the West Brom players are, but perhaps not Walsall's Murphy.

50/50 chance for us against Chester, I reckon. Hoping for a good crowd as I'm sure Chester will bring a few and the town does actually seem to wake up a bit for the FA Cup.

Year after year I dream of the cup run to Old Trafford or Anfield and year after year we fail to get past Round 1 (if that). PLEASE let us do something this year.

We'll lose, don't really care. We don't do cup runs anyway.

First time we've been in the 4QR in 6 years. Crossing everything that we beat a lower league Bognor at home and then get a plum FL draw away.

Looking forward to some serious Magic of the Cup and losing 1-0 at Maidenhead to a goal from a set piece to end our season. Ian Devonshire is going to hoof-ball us into oblivion and beyond.

Tranmere's 'Retro Day' on Saturday, apparently.

We've got Wood back, so I imagine he'll come straight back in - probably for Tempest. Perhaps harsh on him because he had a good game by all accounts on Saturday but Wood has to start.

Be surprised if we didn't go with Rhead and Hearn up front again and go 4-4-2 (not a massive fan of the 'classic' 4-4-2 if I'm honest). They haven't had too much game time together but when they do, we score goals.

If we both make it through we'll probably end up playing each other or something! That said right now I'd be very happy to be in with the chance of it happening.

Huge game for us, Barwell are a decent side the level above, they have Iyseden Christie up front, and a young midfielder that seems to be garnering a lot of attention - Brady Hickey. Both teams hoping to be in the first round proper for the first time.

Where do we see the shocks coming?

I will say Salford to beat Southport and AFC Hornchurch to beat Boreham Wood.

Rhead and McNulty on the same pitch. It'll be like watching two hungover mechanics battle it out in a Sunday League game in Burnley.

So off to Margate nice and early Saturday, must be mad given the way we played last Saturday.

Free travel for our fans being provided by the club & supporters club which is a great gesture. Hopefully that means a few more should come along for our Jolly Boys Outing.

Our forum has started to melt down ahead of the game because of segregation arrangements. Away fans to be offered part of the pop side because it might rain.
