He was talking about a lack of investment last time I heard him disussing whether or not he'd stay, and how he'd need assured of it if he were to continue. Probably means another summer of nonsense in the transfer market for the Mackems.

lol

They'll bring in some other no mark and be in and out of the relegation zone until March. He'll inevitably get sacked but their latest temp boss will rescue them with a derby win and undeserved safety once again.

And despite the mess up the road Newcastle will still finish above them. What a sorry state of affairs for north-east football.

They could get Big Sam to steady the ship but Big Sam dreams of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Got more money to spend (and earn) than originally expected?

Great news for the Mackems, surely been promised more money that originally given to him.

Good move in my opinion - the one year deal gives them the chance to identify the right man for the long term re-build and Advocaat will almost certainly keep them in the Premier League this season before the new mega TV deal comes into place.

Great to have him back. Hopefully we give him the funds he wants and we can have a good season for a change.

Out of interest what would be a good season for you? Anyway i think it's a good appointment. hopefully if it's only 1 year they will have an eye on who they want after the year is up

Mid table and away from the relegation zone. More importantly playing with a bit of creativity and ambition, our football the last few years has been woeful.

Wonder what they'll buy her when they're relegated next season!

Fair play. They'd have only spent it all on cheesy chips and panda pop anyway...
