now IF Macc get more points deductions and go down they'd probably end up in NLN (as Boston did) Chorley and Fylde would go down and Crewe go up. Them 4 would get replaced by Tranmere, Bolton, York and erm Kings Lynn... which would make the North even stronger looking.

Even then, to null and void the season and then implement this going forward would be something of a travesty for the likes of Crewe, all ready to join the big names such as Sunderland and Ipswich for next season and then suddenly, how about an away trip to Fylde instead?

unfortunately not - we'd keep them both - unless Northampton were in the play off's and went up - in which case we'd get Cambridge instead.

Nope - but to make things worse for the south they would lose Swindon, Plymouth and 1 of Exeter/Cheltenham/Colchester/Cambridge (Cambridge if Northampton won play offs) and gain Southend, Wealdstone and Havant & Waterlooville (yes that is one team not 2).

Yeah. Being reported that 9 clubs are now wanting to finish the season, 8 not to and 6 undecided.

Clough has left Burton along with the assistant and scout due to financial pressures so I can't see them wanting to play on.

Grimsby voted to finish the season with the remaining games void, points given using an agreed system. We also wanted both promotion and relegation (once the Macc points deduction issues were settled). Overall the vote was to finish the season, have promotion but not relegate anyone; that is what has gone forward to the FA apparently.

I like what you did with Salford there

Looking at that map, it seems to me that northerners do not like the colour green, while having a fondness for blue. OTOH, red is more prevalent in the south, as is amber/yellow and black.

And yes, I'm bored.

Green is a farmers' colour that is understandable popular in the south-west

Did you just choose a random colour scheme then with no reason behind it? Many clubs seem to go with the colours on the towns coat of arms or stuff like that. I think that explains Exeter and Plymouth's colours. We changed to yellow and blue back in the 50's to supposedly reflect the yellow beaches and blue skies of the bay

In honesty not totally sure, I appreciate obviously normally it comes from coats of arms and you don’t just pick it but we had quite a few colours before picking yellow/amber. We did so in the 20s and kept with it. Some say it had something to do with it being a relatively similar colour to a stag - though I don’t really recall seeing many stags/deer that were yellow!
