Hungary are popping the ball around like Barcelona here!

Surprising me ATM - Austria haven't got going.

Austria have really underwhelmed. Expected Hungary to be the worst team in the tournament but they've looked more capable than others.

Not a bad time to end an 18 month goal drought.

Good move, I was just waiting for Szalai to sky it!

Is that a 2nd yellow card offence? Seems a bit much. That might well kill this game.

What a finish that is. Cheeky, classy finish.

Certainly didn't expect Hungary to display that sort of quality.
Now for the Islanders to surprise Portugal!

Austria the worst of those hopefuls by a good distance. Looks like Poland or Croatia have the best chance of upsetting the established order.

Wow that was certainly a surprise, especially with Austria having being bigged up as potential dark horses. They just never got going which is a shame because I wanted to see how good they really were, credit Hungary though they passed the ball around really well. Expected them to finish rock bottom of this group but they've thrown a spanner in the works after that result.

A guid dram
Not a good start by the lads, they were bright in patches but had nothing upfront. Hopefully they can do better next game!

Meh Portugal are distinctly average, shut down greasey abs boy, you shut them all down.
Maybe but then Hungary weren't supposed to be any good...

I do agree they ought to give Portugal a game though.

Really impressed by Hungary. They played some lovely football against one of the stronger teams on paper. No fear, just calmness and quality.

Hungary have been decent for a few years now and breezed past Norway in the play offs after very narrowly missing out on automatic qualification, been a lot of lazy journalism on them.
