Huge game down at the bottom here. Expect Mowbray to be announced as our new manager tomorrow morning. I'd line up like this:

Burge

Phillips Pennington Martin Stokes

O'Brien Barton Fleck Odelusi

Williams

Samuel

3-1 Cov.

It's a biggun for sure. We both should have done a hell of a lot better this season with our respective squads, crowds, budgets etc. but have found ourselves at the wrong end of the table for long spells.

We've won our last three, keeping clean sheets in all of them, and have won 5 out of the last 6 at home. But I've noticed Cov picking up a bit of form recently too, and have got most of their points away from home.

A win would see us edge closer to the top 6 and all but put to bed any thoughts of a second relegation in a row, which is ludicrous given we were only 4 points off the drop zone after being dicked by Crawley the other week. Cov obviously need to win as well to keep that momentum going and pull away from the bottom 4.

I would bite someone's hand off for another scrappy, hard-fought 1-0 win to drag us up that table and build on the confidence and form that has materialised since Wilson's sacking. Bite it off, I tell you. What is likely to happen is Jim O'Brien scoring the winner from 30 yards.

Unlikely, he's been pretty average for quite a while.

Disappointing 1-0 loss. We seemed shit but can't really comment as I wasn't there.

Another win, another clean sheet. Not pretty by any stretch but I'd have taken that before kick off.

Cov weren't shit, it could have been different had Tudgay scored rather than hit the post, but you faded after that and didn't really do enough second half to trouble our defense. Can think of plenty of teams worse than you lot to come to Oakwell this season.

We don't create much up top with only Waring, but fair play to the guy for scoring the winner in the last two games. Winnall being fit again is going to present Johnson with a headache, as accommodating him and Waring means changing the formation of a side that's won 4 on the spin. Surreal that we're 2 points off the play-offs after the Crawley debacle. Might look a bit grim for Cov fans tonight, but you've got some decent players and Mowbray will steer you to safety.

I'll take these ugly 1-0 wins all season.
