Orient v Blackpool.

Last week saw Orient move to within four points of the play offs and they play fellow play off contenders Blackpool... Blackpool will win 1-0, Gnanduillet at the death, and Orient will once again be relegation candidates or something.

Joint protest organised with Blackpool fans against the owners, which is fair enough really.

Looking forward to rioting down the High Road. 'Ave it.

The game will be a delightful 3-0 defeat.

Tisdale Out...!

Would sooner have Oyston and Becchetti as joint managers at the moment.

Absolutely gutted to be missing this one, would have loved to have joined in with the protest march as something needs to be done about our mad owner.

Orient have the second worst home record in the league (thanks Exeter!) so far registering 1 win and 7 defeats, and are currently on a run of 6 consecutive home losses - going for the club record on Saturday!

Blackpool, on the other hand, boast the third-worst away record, with only Colchester and Wycombe sparing their blushes. They are without a win in 5 on the road, but plucky points at Crewe and Cheltenham show they are at least capable of grinding out a draw - something the Orient simply cannot do at home.

Both sides are fresh from big wins, the Os away 0-3 at Colchester and Blackpool tore apart a 10-man County side 4-0 at home, so they are both clearly capable of scoring.

That said, as any Orient fan who has subjected themselves to home fixtures this season will tell you, watching the Os at Brisbane Road has been, at best, tortuous this season, and with former scapegoat Armand Gnanduillet coming back to his former club, Blackpool are bound to score at least one (incidentally, according to the BBC, Gnand is still Orient's 3rd highest scorer this season with 3).

Tough one to predict this, but I'm sure the supporters of both teams will be in fine voice on the march.

Final Score: Orient 0 - 2 Blackpool.

The rot to continue at the Road.

If we lose tomorrow, it will set a new club record - 8 straight home leagues defeats in a row.

Jack Payne and Armand Gnanduillet to score in a 2-0 win for Blackpool :bdick:

If I hear zonal marking lambasted once more I'm going to scream. There was a scout at Brisbane Road earlier this season under Hessenthaler when Orient were man marking and he picked up on set pieces being Orient's biggest defensive Achilles heel. Now Orient have moved to zonal marking they still can not defend set pieces. The system isn't the problem, it's basic defensive errors. Sheffield United Orient conceded from four set plays, the free kick was certainly man marking Orient conceded from and the other three were not down to the system, it's actually really bugging me.

It went as expected, another very poor performance with very low confidence. Blackpool as expected a decent side for this level, their front two Jamil Matt and Kyle Vassell will cause teams problems.

Thats a club record 8 league home defeats in a row.

Staggering that there is one team that is actually worse than us at home.

Thought the protest went well, good numbers in good voice from both clubs.

Still, it won't change anything. Dark days indeed for us especially.

I think we won't go down, I think that only because Morecambe have massively hit the rocks it seems. (Barkhuizen released to Preston in order for Preston to pay their wages...)

Zonal marking will be blamed for Blackpool's second, and I think there's possibly a case to be made. But can I just point out Alan Dunne has once again defended the situation appallingly? Maybe The Terminator can help me out, but I'm struggling to think of an appearance Dunne has made where he's made the basics right. Legitimately should go down with the Jamie Harnwell school of LOFC defenders.

When he came on he took ages to settle into the game, he was all over the place. The cross he did for McCallums goal was probably the most useful thing he has done here.

I thought he was unfairly frozen out after 2 months last season, but since he has come back, he has just been the same. He has an error in him and with him in the starting XI we always concede, god knows what Exeter will do to him Tuesday.
