Date: 25th February 2008
Competition: JPT Southern Area Final
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 0-1 Swansea City (Agg 1-1) – 5-4 on penalties

This has to be included because this was the match that got us to Wembley Stadium and our first real cup success. It was top of League Two versus top of League One and we came out on top. Drewe fucking Broughton was the hero as he scored the winning penalty sparking a pitch invasion with the realisation that this tinpot club was off to Wembley.

Date: 30th March 2008
Competition: JPT Final
Match: Grimsby Town 0-2 Milton Keynes Dons

This win brought us our first silverware as MK Dons so will be fondly remembered. Willy Gueret saved a penalty before Keith Andrews put us ahead from the spot and Sean O'Hanlon made sure of the win. I was only 13 at the time so to see my side lift a trophy at Wembley Stadium was a great experience, especially after the previous awful few years. The attendance was good also, more than 33,000 MK Dons fans (for that day at least).

Date: 23rd August 2011
Competition: League Cup 2nd Round
Match: Norwich City 0-4 Milton Keynes Dons

Norwich were in the Premier League at the time so to go to Carrow Road and win 0-4 was fantastic. We were top of League One at the time and Norwich made a number of changes but that should not take away from the performance which was one of the best I have ever seen from us.

Date: 2nd December 2012
Competition: FA Cup 2nd Round
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 2-1 AFC Wimbledon

This was the first meeting between the sides so it was imperative not to lose with the world watching and the hype pre game. Stephen Gleeson put us ahead with a brilliant 25 yard strike right on half time before Jack Midson equalised for AFC on the hour with a header. 91 minutes on the clock and David Martin makes a great save to prevent AFC winning the game before a minute later, Jon Otsemobor, our right back, loops a back heel in to the top corner to win the game following a corner. It was an utterly surreal way to win a game like that and still remains my favourite ever Dons goal, now dubbed 'The Heel Of God'. There was a good crowd at the game from both sides too considering it was only really a 2nd round game between a League One and League Two club it has to be said - 16,459 (3,030 AFC). The majority were well behaved too with only a few minor scuffles and a pitch invasion each after the goals being the only real problems.

Date: 26th January 2013
Competition: FA Cup 4th Round
Match: Queens Park Rangers 2-4 Milton Keynes Dons

We took a sell-out away following to this match of 3,155 with a few more in the home end and were richly rewarded, being 0-4 up in less than an hour away at a Premier League side. One part of me was not even surprised considering we beat Premier League Norwich City 0-4 two years prior and also stuck 4 past Blackpool at Stadium:MK when they were in the Prem. A great day out and probably my best ever away day following Dons.

Date: 12th August 2014
Competition: League Cup 1st Round
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 3-1 AFC Wimbledon

The second meeting between the sides was a lot less stressful than the first with a lot less hype and us cruising to a 3-1 win. Our centre back Kyle McFadzean put us 1-0 up with...yep the 'Heel Of God II', a back heel following a corner before Daniel Powell and Benik Afobe put us 3-0 up. AFC scored a late consolation from the penalty spot with a few idiots spilling on to the pitch from their end but again, most were well behaved.

Date: 26th August 2014
Competition: League Cup 2nd Round
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 4-0 Manchester United

There is not a lot to say as I am sure everyone knows what happened. We beat the biggest club in the world FOUR FUCKING NIL thanks to a brace each from Will Grigg and Benik Afobe in front of a record crowd of 26,969 fans. The perfect evening and I doubt we will ever top that result in a cup ever again.

Worst
Date: 11th August 2009
Competition: League Cup 2nd Round
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 1-4 Swindon Town

Just an utterly awful performance and result really, hence its inclusion. Thanks a bunch Paul Ince (only joking as you won us the JPT and League Two so I kind of still like you a bit).

Date: 4th September 2012
Competition: JPT 1st Round
Match: Northampton Town 1-0 Milton Keynes Dons

Us and Cobblers have met 5 times, with us winning all 4 except this one. We took a good crowd as you would expect and had just under 50% of the attendance, something like 1,400 in a 3,500 crowd. Anyway, a Jake Robinson strike from about 35 yards found its way into the net somehow after a complete fuck up from our keeper David Martin. That set the tone for the evening as we never really looked like winning the game and Akinfenwa bullied our young defender Mason Spence throughout. It was a rather depressing evening, although thankfully being only a 15 minute trip on the train, it could have been worse.

Date: 7th October 2014
Competition: JPT 2nd Round
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 2-3 AFC Wimbledon

AFC thoroughly deserved to win as we just did not turn up but the players can be forgiven having beaten them twice before when, to be honest, it mattered more. We were always going to lose to them at some point and I am glad that we only did so in the lesser of the three cups we have met in. As a measure of how little anybody gives a fuck anymore, there were only 4,407 in attendance and only 250ish from AFC.

Good & Bad

Date: 7th January 2006
Competition: FA Cup 3rd Round
Match: Southampton 4-3 Milton Keynes Dons

Our team was shite, we were rock bottom of League One and having an awful season so being drawn away to Southampton (who had just come down from the Premier League) was as good as it was going to get. We took over 1,800 fans and the atmosphere from our end was fantastic; the same could understandably not be said for the Saints fans who had about 13,000 (not including away fans) – the lowest ever competitive attendance at St Mary’s IIRC. Nobody from either side expected anything other than a dull 2-0 home win…what we got instead was a 7 goal thriller. Saints went 1-0 up before we equalised through an own goal. Southampton then went 3-1 ahead, a 16 year old Theo Walcott grabbing the third, and at this point it looked like game over. We managed to pull it back to 3-2 through a deflected free kick from Nicky Rizzo before Gareth Edds (who regularly came up with important late goals) scored a tap-in in the 84th minute to make it 3-3. Typically, in the 88th minute Southampton got the winner – in these days it was a regular occurrence to make a good comeback and still throw it away so I was not shocked. So yeah, despite a great fighting performance and a good day out, it ended in disappointment hence its inclusion in this section.

Date: 25th October 2006
Competition: League Cup 3rd Round
Match: Milton Keynes Dons 0-5 Tottenham Hotspur

This match was great because we were having a good season in League Two and this was our first real big tie. There was a real buzz around Milton Keynes with people (including my dad) sleeping at the stadium to pick up the last remaining tickets but the game was awful from our side of things as the scoreline suggests. Great atmosphere, awful (though not unexpected) result.

So yeah, I have quite a lot of memories from the cups considering we have only been around 10 years. What are your best and worst cup memories?

Worst cup memory? Going to the Emirates for a cup game against Blackburn, I still had a slight stomach bug so felt gross, we then lost 0-1 in one of the worst performances I've seen. Mancini was on the tube though which was pretty funny.

Good/Bad:
JPT Final at Wembley against Southampton, great weekend but we got beat 4-1.

Same last season away to Sunderland in the FA Cup, good day out but we got beat 3-1 with a fairly poor performance. Was amazing when we equalised though.

Best Cup Memory... winning the JPT 1-0 against Brentford. It had all the elements of a great cup final, two closely matched sides, North vs South, Blue vs Red, lovely sunshine, Wembley, cracking goal scored by a club legend, red card.

Off-topic a little, but playing us in a JPT final tends to have the effect of propelling our opponents into the Premier League. We've played in 6 of them, and 3 of our opponents (Birmingham, Swansea and Southampton) went on into the Premiership with Brentford currently looking at getting there and Bristol City perhaps able to harbour similar ambitions. Colchester have bucked the trend a little though.

I don't have any bad cup memories, we tend not to really have cup nightmares usually beating smaller teams and then losing to teams in the same division or higher. Even losing to clubs like Fleetwood won't exactly live long in the memory as they were a good L2 team up against a shit L1 team. For many fans, Ilkeston Town is the name that sticks in the memory. I wasn't there though.

Bad - JPT Final 1 Loss to Blackpool 2004, JPT Final 2 Loss to Wrexham 2005, JPT Final 3 Loss to Crewe 2013- all 2-0

Good - Drawing with Chelsea away 1-1 January 2009 Peter Clarke 90th min equaliser at the Bridge, Beating Man Utd 1-0 in Carling Cup Eastwood free kick Nov 06. Until MK Dons beat United this season we were the only English team to have 100% win record against them

the sad thing is that we lose to lower league sides every year in cups so this probably wouldn't even feature in a Norwich fan's worst 10 cup memories.

Yeah alright mate no need to rub it in ;)

Yep it was earlier this year, we had that horrible pinky purple strip and Nathan Thompson got sent off (don't know if you've heard of him).

See Gary Johnson's there now. Still working his way around the south west teams.

This should be interesting.

Best

Portsmouth 1 Cardiff City 0: FA Cup Final 2008

Not much to say here but never in my life did I think I'd see my team win a major trophy and for a club like Pompey to pull it off (despite the manner in which it happened) was something I'll never forget. The game itself wasn't great and we were expected to win, but it was still a great day.

Manchester United 0 Portsmouth 1: FA Cup Quarter-Final 2008

There were highlights shown from this match on the BBC recently and I'm still not sure how we won it. We got battered yet once Distin miraculously cleared Carrick's shot off the line, I just had a feeling we'd nick it. One counter-attack and the keeper getting sent off later and Sulley Muntari smashes a penalty past Rio Ferdinand for the win. Glorious.

Southampton 1 Portsmouth 4: FA Cup Round 5 2010

Smashing your arch rivals 4-1 (again) on their own turf is nothing to be sniffed at. We may have been two leagues above but the Scummers fancied their chances and on the balance of play should have had a replay at least. Not that we cared.

Portsmouth 2 Tottenham Hotspur 0: FA Cup Semi-Final 2010

For me, this was better than the cup win in 2008. We were going into this match as complete underdogs having just been relegated and on the verge of bankruptcy with Spurs chasing the top four and being managed by Harry Redknapp. Then of course you had Kevin Bond, Joe Jordan, Peter Crouch, Niko Kranjcar and Jermain Defoe all there too.

Two goals in extra time from Freddie Piquionne and Spurs reject Kevin-Prince Boateng sealed the win and a day Pompey fans will never, ever forget. We haven't won an FA Cup match since.

Worst

Southampton 2 Portsmouth 1: FA Cup Round 4 2005

I can't actually remember too much about this game only that we had Diomansy Kamara sent off unfairly for a handball and then a really harsh penalty at the end of the match saw Crouch win it for them in stoppage time. Gutting, but we had the last laugh that season.

Brighton & Hove Albion 3 Portsmouth 1: FA Cup Round 3 2011

I remember going to the Withdean, almost breaking my ankle and treading in dog shit numerous times on the way to the Withdean Stadium, possibly the worst ground in football history. Then we got abused by one of our own fans who didn't even realise we were also Pompey fans in a separate stand. As for the match, Dave Kitson got sent off for punching someone and we got completely outplayed by a side a division below.

Aldershot Town 1 Portsmouth 0: FA Cup Round 1 Replay 2014

Having barely deserved a replay after a 2-2 draw at Fratton Park, many thought we'd get the job done at Aldershot. Not the case, we were completely outfought by a side who wanted it more and that confirmed our first ever defeat to a non-league side in a competitive match.

Best:
Beating Kidderminster 3-2 (FA Trophy Final - 2007)
First competitive game at the new Wembley, we were 2-0 down at the break, second half we turned it around with Morison scoring in the 90th minute to seal the win. The first Trophy I'd seen us win.
Beating Newcastle 3-1 (FA Cup - 2011)
Big cup upset, they'd just beaten West Ham 5-0 days earlier and in truth we beat them comfortably, couldn't believe what I was watching.
Beating MK Dons 7-6 on pens (FA Cup - 2010)
Penalty shoot out win, 95th minute equaliser and ruined ITV's dreams of a Wimbledon/MK wankfest

Worst:
Losing to Maidstone 2-1 (FA Cup - 2014)
On the wrong end of an upset to a side three levels lower than us, you couldn't argue that they didn't deserve it and the goal came right at the death which was a real kick in the nads.
Losing to Exeter 4-0 (FA Cup - 2008)
Travelled on my own to this one, it was early in Peter Taylor's reign and I stupidly believed we had a chance of progressing, got royally bummed.

Southend United
Best:

Southend 3-2 Tottenham, League Cup 2nd Round 2nd Leg 1989
We were actually pretty decent back then and on the back of this tie Tottenham went on to buy youth graduates Dean Austin and Justin Edinburgh. Tottenham won 1-0 in the first leg and won the tie on away goals. It remains one of the best all round team performances I've seen from Southend against a full strength Spurs side with the likes of Lineker and Gascoigne.

Canvey Island 2-3 Southend. FA Cup 1st Round Replay 2003
I choose this for the manner in which it played out. Canvey were bankrolled into the conference and their 'fans' (I still don't know of anyone who actually supports them) were claiming they'd be above Southend in the league soon enough, we were shite to be fair. We struggled badly in the 1st game at Roots Hall ending 1-1. The replay was live on TV (sky I seem to remember) Canvey went for it early on and deserved to go in 2-1 up at half time. Jay Smith then took over, when on form he was superb to watch, scored early in the 2nd half - then Marc Warren decides to go mental and take out a Canvey player 5 minutes from time, but fear not in injury time Smith scores again, we go mental and Canvey have sunk back to their natural level of the Isthmian.

Colchester 2-3 Southend & Southend 1-1 Colchester, LDV South Final 2004
The best way ever to get to a cup final, beat your local rivals. They were a division above, we were a bottom half League 2 shambles showing signs of things to come under Steve Tilson. I went to the first game with dread if I'm honest, did not expect a thing, 5 minutes in and 1-0 down I feared the worst. Then step forward complete donkey Drewe Broughton, who at Southend is a cult hero for these two games. He set up the first, bundled in a second and suddenly the dream is on. In full steam he then gets sent off (rightly so for an assault) but it doesn't matter Tes Bramble adds a 3rd and Col Ewe make it interesting late on.
The 2nd leg remains the most electric atmosphere I have ever been in at a football match. Again Col Ewe scored within 5 minutes but it was an even first half, then who pops up again on the stroke of half time - Broughton, the only time in his career I think where he finished with aplomb. It noticeably deflated the Col Ewe players and a drab 2nd half was played out to see the first trip of three in just over 12 months to the Millennium Stadium.

Chelsea 1-1 Southend, FA Cup 3rd Round 2009
This was great, I was sat in the front row near the corner, had great enjoyment shouting abuse at Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole when they came over to take set pieces. For some reason I knew we could get something, I said 1-1 in the pub before, I still remember Matt LeTissier predicting 6-0 on soccer saturday. Knew it was going well for us when Drogba managed to put a shot over from 3 yards out. They scored and then seemed to think that was it. Chelsea passed it about a lot, we watched them, then something seemed to click about 15 minutes from time when the Southend players started attacking, Junior Stanislas had a great chance to level it before a long throw and an unmarked Peter Clarke headed in, in stoppage time, cue mayhem in the away end, Chelsea fans screaming abuse at Scolari and everyone back to Roots Hall.

honorable mention for Southend 1-0 Man Utd in the league cup 2006, only because I was one of 2 Southend fans in a pub full of Man Utd 'supporters' in London, I had quite a good evening.

Worst:
I'm not going for any of the cup finals, I expected us to lose them all and was just happy we actually got that far in the first place.
I plump for just two, all because of the 'performance' on the day. I'm struggling to think of any others as its a rare occasion Southend are favourites in a cup tie.

Southend 0-1 Doncaster, FA Cup 1st Round 1998
92 years of FA Cup action and Southend had never lost to a non-league side at home. This side was statistically the worst ever Southend side of all time, finishing in the lowest league position ever and then managing this abjectness in the FA Cup. Donny were doing feck all in the Conference and even I thought we'd actually win a game. How wrong I was, this remains one of the worst 'performances' I've ever seen from a professional football side, I'm still angry now I paid to see this game.

Southend 0-1 Kingstonian, FA Cup 3rd Round 2001
So what to do the next time you draw a non-league side at home in the FA Cup, yep play just as shite as the last time. A Marginally better display, I think a softer blow as Kingstonian utterly deserved it, previously Donny were only slightly less shit than Southend, but the K's were all round the better side on the day, scored within 10 minutes and never looked like losing. I got really drunk after this game, it was the only highlight of the day.

Considering my first season was the 11 pointer I suppose I haven't had much to talk about, but a few examples.

Derby 1-0 Manchester United
League cup semi-final 1st leg 2009

In a pretty poor season where Paul Jewellery had just been sacked, we welcomed Man Utd to Pride Park with a caretaker manager in charge. We went on to win from a 25 yard thunderbolt from Kris Commons, a great game that was the only highlight from that season. We lost the away game 4-2, so we weren't too far off a potential final.

Fulham 2-5 Derby County
League cup 4th round 2014

We were on the back of an awful home loss to Wigan (1-2) when we played Fulham. We were looking like going down at half time 2-0 before Chris Martin scored a penalty. This started a catalyst for the second half as we went rampant, equalising within minutes before scoring another 3. Shame Simon Dawkins could be amazing this game but near non-existent for the rest of the season.

Crawley 2-1 Derby County
FA cup 3rd round 2011

Remember watching this on the TV, nothing more to say than it was an abysmal performance from us. A certain Torres scored an injury time winner, Sergio Torres :(

Best: Getting to the semi final of the League Cup beating Southampton and Portsmouth very easily on route in 2005 and also reaching the 2003 semi final in the FA Cup at a time we when were really skint and the cup run brought some much needed revenue.

Worse: Losing to Luton at home in the 2002 Worthington Cup - a nightmare on and off the pitch that night.

I don't think the Luton was that bad result-wise, as the result wasn't totally unexpected (despite our 4-0 win at their place in 1997-98, they still had the Indian sign against us at home), but I agree it does sound awful for those who went (I didn't, fortunately it seems).

The worst? Still the 0-2 home defeat to Notts County in the League Cup in 2000/01. 3-1 up from the first leg, and supposedly cruising, then and not for the first time in this competition against lower league opponents we played like absolute idiots allowing Notts to score their 2nd to level the tie on the stroke of full time in normal time, just as we were on the verge of going through, allowing for a totally gruesome period of extra time where Notts (who weren't that good themselves) looked far more likely to win the tie than we were to wrap it up. In retrospective, this game along with the Cheltenham home match in the first round should have sent the early alarm bells ringing that we didn't have the heart and professionalism to get promoted over a long season - and so the disastrous final six months proved.

Best - thankfully I'm more spoiled for choice - the big wins over Southampton and Pompey were great of course, as was the 4-2 against Charlton in 2001/02 (one of few highlights in Vialli's only season, the gutless 4-0 collapse at an awful Sheff Wed side in the very next round summing up what a disappointment it was). But funnily enough, the 2-0 win over Burnley in the FA Cup quarter-final in 2002/03 stands out among the pack - I say funny because for once I agree with the media that the quality from both teams wasn't good and it was a pretty scrappy game to watch for both sets of fans, never mind the neutral. But it was one of those games where the result was all that matters, especially when getting a win over what used to be a real bogey side for us, reaching the last 4 of the FA Cup for the first time in god knows how long, this feeling being reinforced of having our club back after the Vialli debacle, getting some much needed money in the coffers in our parlous financial situation.

Of course, if we're going to count play-offs as cup games (given you get to play at a big stadium in neutral territory at the end of it all) the best memory is undoubtedly the Leeds 3-0 and promotion to the Premier League, followed closely by the home leg against Leicester in 2012/2013.

Our record in the League Cup against lower league clubs is truly awful isn't it!

Even when we win its usually on penalties or in extra time/by one goal.

I remember that Burnley game - great free kick from Glass and a one yarder from Smith.

I can add several to this!

Good:
The whole 99/00 FA Cup run as a then Division Two side, beating Walsall (Division One, 2-1), Bradford (Premiership, 3-1) and Sheffield Wednesday (Premiership, 3-1) before being knocked out by the eventual winners Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Levelling the scores to 1-1 and 2-2 at Highbury in about 2002. Wenger was forced to bring on Henry and Pires (Player of the year that season) in order to finally beat us, which was quite a compliment.

Winning 1-0 away at Coventry City in the league cup in 96, to give us our first ever away win against a top division side.

My personal favourite is one that's kind of under the radar though, beating Premiership Portsmouth in the league cup in about 2005/6. We'd just come down from the Championship and had a pretty ropey start in league one so not much was really expected. Ended up beating them 3-2 after extra time in an absorbing game, with Darren Byfield hitting two and Andrew Crofts the extra time winner. We did bugger all else that season so it was memorable for that if nothing else!

Onto the bad....and there's a few....

In the same season as the Portsmouth League Cup win, we were dumped out of the FA Cup in the first round at Burscough (I'm not sure either) 3-2. Made worse by being 2-1 going into injury time.

In more recent times, losing 2-0 at home to Dover was monumentally poor, as was a 1-1 draw at home to Brackley Town (we scored a last minute equaliser as well) which gave us a replay which we promptly lost 1-0.

In fact, in my time supporting Gills, I think I've only seen us beat one non-league team (Bromley, 4-1) competitively in 4 or 5 attempts. Not ideal.

I enjoyed Liverpool beating Arsenal 2-1. Ljunberg got the opener but Owen scored 2. Liverpool went on to the UEFA Cup 3 days later in a crazy final that they won 5-4 after extra-time. Gary McAlister was exceptionnally good.
Live though has to be Hull v Sheff Utd, FA Cup semi 2014. Not just because Hull won the whole "I was there innit" bollocks but the game was tremendous. Finished 5-3. It's up there with the best games I've ever attended. Cost a fortune on plane fares but well worth it.

I don't have bad memories because I don't support anyone.

Burscough are one of my local non league sides so I was at that game! Still one of the more bizarre Ive ever been to! That last minute or two was unbelievable.

For a side who have been so successful in our history, we must have the worst cup record of any other big club. We have never won the League Cup, and seem to go out every year to a lower league side. Ive had a season ticket for 15 years before this one, and we have lost to a lower league side in the FA Cup or League Cup 9 times...

The worst I actually remember. Both of last season's exits were horrific. 3-0 at Swansea on a horrible freezing wet night when the M6 and M5 had closures so it took 6 hours to get home, then losing on pens at West Ham in the snow in the FA Cup after we'd played so well and so long with 10 men. Awful. In the same vein, losing at Brentford on pens after being up at 6 and doing a shift in work before the game, going all the way to London to watch us lose, get home at 4am, then back up at 6 for work! Football has never felt like such a stupid pastime!

Losing the final to Chelsea in 2009. Only Everton could score the fastest ever goal in an FA Cup Final...and still lose.

Losing to Liverpool in the semi in 2012. No Derby defeat will ever come close to that one. And to make it worse, I deliberately tried to not build up any hope at all, as I knew how much it was going to hurt when they beat us...then Carragher fluffed one and gifted us a lead...all hope restored...gutless second half, one horrific Distin backpass, and somehow leaving that donkey Andy Carroll unmarked to flick in a last minute winner with his ponytail...Moyes' Derby and Cup record all encapsualted in 90 minutes at Wembley...

Actually losing to Shrewsbury in 2003. They were relegated from the League that season but they beat us...

Likewise losing 3-0 at home to Tranmere. Thankfully I wasnt at both of these.

Losing at home to Reading in round 5 after we'd gone to all the trouble of winning at Chelsea the round before. Reading were the only non Prem side left in the Cup and we got them at home. Losing in those circumstances was the most Everton thing ever...

At least until we lost at home to Wigan in 2013...again, home tie against a side who went on to get relegated that season, with the potential of Millwall/ Blackburn in the semi, and City, who we had a ridiculously good record against at the time, in the final. Surely our chance to end this long run without a trophy had to be now...no, we never turned up and got murdered 3-0. I think even though it wasnt really a giantkilling, this one is the worst. Because the opportunity we missed hurt so much. Yeah its embarassing losing to lower league sides. To throw away a great chance so utterly and completely in one of the most gutless Everton displays Ive ever seen hurt like nothing else.

Right that was horrible, good ones now thanks!

Yakubu's last minute winner in the League Cup quarter final at West Ham in 2007...limbs everywhere!

2-0 win at Sunderland in an FA Cup quarter final replay to set up that semi final with Liverpool in 2012. 7,000 of us in the away end, utter madness that night. One of the best Everton performances Ive ever seen..

Beating Chelsea on pens at Stamford Bridge after Baines' last minute of extra time free kick to equalise. Absolutely brilliant.

Beating United on pens at Wembley in the FA Cup semi final to get through to our first final in 14 years. Awful game, but that moment when Jagielka slotted the winning pen was one of the best moments of my life.

And finally, not an Everton one, but being there at Wembley when Ben Watson scored the goal to win Wigan the FA Cup was magic.

The Brackley replay was the first time that my local had shown a game on BT Sport. Good job it was a Monday night when there was hardly anybody in the place

Best cup moments:
Liverpool 0-1 Bristol City
Bristol City 3-1 Chelsea.
Worst cup moments.
Pretty much every cup match played since 2012, except JPT.

Good

Beating Blackpool in the closing minutes two years ago, was superb, brilliant atmosphere and made Tom Clarke a cult hero.

The 4-2 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup, we lost in the end but going 2-0 up thanks to a Kurt Nogan brace was surreal, Deepdale was booming.

Bad

Losing at home to Morecambe in the League Cup when that useless twat, Paul Simpson was manager, that big fatty Jim Bentley even scored.

Remember a 5-0 defeat at Villa Park years back too, pissed it down and we were wank, one of my first ever away games too.

Losing 1-0 at home to Pompey in the FA Cup under Irvine when we dominated the game and that bag of shit, wanker Darren Carter scored an own goal in the last minute... hate that c***. David James had an absolute stormer and saved a penalty as well.
