Only 15,000 home tickets sold so far so probably should just about be 20k there. But certainly no where near as many as yesterday. 550 sold for the away leg so far. My predictions for the matches are 2 draws and a penalty shootout so fuck knows whos coming out on top

I see some misinformed fans on your forum think Foderingham will be out injured Thursday.

Sorry to disappoint.

With our appalling record at Bramall Lane and your equally poor record at the CG penalties might be a good shout.

Why you struggling with ticket sales? You had more Saturday minus the chestfield fans didn't you?

Yes, people just don't turn up in the playoffs. Id be there if i was in the country. It sends a poor message out to the players just because of previous dissapointment in the playoffs people dont go these ones.

Looking forward to the games, strangely. Going (to try) to enjoy to them this time around rather than being a nervous wreck.

Both teams in relatively average form so this is anyone's i reckon.

You'll be expected to come at us first leg so that may suit us as we're dangerous on the counter. Hopefully we can hold for a draw first leg.

Is it me or are the first legs coming around very quickly after the end of the season this year? I'm sure I remember a 7 - 10 day wait last time?!

Going by the Sheffield United forum I fancy our chances of controlling the midfield if theirs is as bad as most of their fans are suggesting.

For me, we go two up front, Obika and one other, the last thing we want to be doing is inviting pressure at a place like Bramall Lane.

Go there positive and I think we can bring a decent result home, go there to nulify and we undoubtedly make one or two errors that are always in us.

Our catastrophically leaky defence worries me somewhat. Kasim, Luongo and Gladwin showed glimpses in the second half at Colchester and Obika and Hylton showed some injection of pace which I think we need at times and possibly going a bit gung-ho might pay off. We'll see.

Narrow blades win, which will be balanced out at the county ground... Cue a penalty shootout.

Id love to see Sheff Utd vs Preston in the final, just for the novelty of watching two of the historically worst playoff teams come head to head.

Me as well but it would probably go to penalties and we will still be there at 4am in morning !

Very nervous about this. As long as we're in it by 1 goal I'll be satisfied, have images of United scoring early and us being out of the tie after the first leg with our defence, worst case scenario. Hope we're not too insistent in playing in our own half for this as I expect them to be all over us. Get it to our ball players in midfield asap and play from there.

If we score first im confident we can control the tie.

How much football has your first team had lately. Didn't you rest most of them toward the end of the season? Lack of football be a problem?

Nobody knows what the effect will be of resting players in recent games - until tomorrow.

TBF, though, 4 of the players rested were genuinely carrying small niggles, so why take the chance.

Be 2 good games and I reckon it will be won or lost tomorrow night. Can see a 3-0 scoreline.

Just not sure who to, though!

Potentially.

We rested the whole team bar the defence against Preston, played a strong team at Colchester, looked rusty first half, strong second half. Then rested the first team again on Sunday but managed to fight back for a confidence boosting draw at home to a relegated side!

I personally worry about rustiness. It could take us a half of football to get going, so I hope that we are not 3-0 down at the time!

No injury concerns then? Have a feeling you lot are going to go through unfortunately.

Sucks both games are on at the same time!
