Because Ipswich are the most massive team in the division, we're on TV again tonight. Hopefully it won't go as badly as against Reading, we had a good win on Tuesday and Birmingham lost their first game, so I'm much more confident than I was at the beginning of the week. I think we'll edge it, 2-1.

Bit of a toughie of a home fixture for me! More than capable of edging it but I expect it to be decided by a goal at most.

Thinking positively, 2-1.

1-1, probably a fair result. We had the better of the play in the second half but didn't create any clear cut chances, I think both teams will be reasonably happy with a point.

My thoughts exactly, I can think of at least one chance each that Maitland-niles, Murphy, Sears and Chambers should have scored. No robbery there.

Penalty, from what I've been told, would have been given as a freekick outside the box, therefore it's a penalty.

And supposedly Cottrill (if that's the right spelling) should have been sent off, swings and roundabouts.

Although I thought they ref was poor in general

It was a needless slide from Spector but there was no shirt pulling, no push. I don't think there was all that much contact there. There was no strong appeal from Maitland-Niles or the other Ipswich players.

Maybe I'm looking at it through personal bias but I didn't think there was any intent at all from Cotterill to warrant a red card, the conditions probably made it look worse than it was. Whoever had his studs down on Gray's ankle was probably more of a sending off to be honest.

Town players don't appeal for anything, McCarthy makes them respect the decision. Not complaining to the ref doesn't write off an infringement. The tackle was late and would have been a freekick outside the box.

Just looked at the Cotterill challenge, no red. Like you say, in better conditions, he wouldn't have slide that far that quickly.

We should have won the game, but didn't.

Birmingham should have been v happy on the way home.

We move on with the point. A good week overall after last weeks horror show.

I wasn't insinuating we'd been robbed as it goes, I was suggesting we'd managed to steal a point.

Second half we were under relentless pressure, I was over the moon we got out of there with a draw, on another day Ipswich could have scored 5/6.

We weren’t under any real pressure really till the last 10-15 minutes, I thought we were comfortable till then.

Possession and shots on goal was about even. A draw in the end was about right.
