Ravel has failed Ravel could have been a top player but his utter lack of work ethic means he'll never amount to anything of note

He seems a really talented player, I remember a goal last season at Spurs he was heavily involved in which showcased what he can do. I don't think he style of play suits Allardyce, maybe going abroad will be best for him

Must be an off the field or personal/training issue that Allardyce just doesn't like. Last season he played pretty well (got overhyped because of his reputation, but he did do well) despite playing in slightly, I suspect, out of position as a defensively-placed CM alongside Noble in a team that hoofed it up most of the time. Then got injured, our form dipped (not necessarily because he was out of the team) and bar a good run in Jan/Feb we were shite most of the rest of the season - and yet when the central midfield area was crying out for a bit of zip, he was sent out on loan.

It's plain to see Allardyce just doesn't like him, and the dislike may well be justified, but the irony is he'd be more tailored for this season's team since, at least before Carroll came back, we were playing direct but quick-paced short and pressured passing football, much more suited to Morrison's game.

...and frankly, I'd put any tossbag in that team ahead of Kevin fucking Nolan.
