Another great performance from the lads tonight,

If we had been told we would have 7 points from the 1st 3 games I would have bitten your hand off

Woohoo!! :ds:

That's 3 decent away results in a week for us. Dizzying stuff for us Gills fans.
For Pikeys, we don't tend to travel very well :bg:

I didn't see tonight's game but Parkinson's teams always remind me of Peter Taylor's, kind of organised, extremely defensive but totally toothless. Tactics are usually wrong too without the ability to switch it up. How long are Braford's fans going to put up with it, especially considering there was another decent attendance tonight?

Decent result for us.

Judging by the Twitter meltdown tonight, not very long. Rightfully boo'd off.

Good to see Parkinson finally taking the blame for the result. I just can't understand why he finally signs all these decent wingers and then plays the narrowest of diamonds. It just makes no sense whatsoever. Another defeat beacons on Saturday I think.

There's only one good thing that has come from tonight, and that's the vast majority of City contingent being awaken by the fact that PP is a footballing dinosaur. I've been shouting this from the roof tops for years, and have been shunned on every other occasion.

Fuck off PP, and take Hanson with you.

So Bradford have a huge aerial lump up front yet don't play Marshall and Anderson to feed him?

Nope. No runners or anyone picking up that second ball.

In fact, no one anywhere near - as all four of them are protecting the back four.

It's incredibly negative stuff.

The moment I knew Taylor had lost it was when he pulled all 11 men back for corners, but didn't bother putting anyone on either post. It sounds like you're getting close to that moment.

Don't wish to but in where I'm not wanted but it doesn't make sense, especially when one of Hansons greatest strengths is attacking crosses.

On a more positive note, Billy Clarke (our best, most creative player by a country mile) is out for around 2 months.

The joy.

We can't start with Davies and Hanson upfront again. It's fucking ridiculous - absolute no pace from either of em! John Egan will relish the arial battle, that's for sure.

If I had it my way, I'd drop Hanson and start with Davies and Luke James upfront. It'll never happy in a month of Sunday's because the Hanson can't do anything wrong, oh and he scored against Villa, didn't you know?

PP needs to get the balance right, and whilst I applaud him for persisting with diamond, only do so if you're going to play some football..don't if you're gonna go route one all fucking game.

Routis needs dropping, I fail to see what he gives us. He's incredibly wasteful at times.

Anderson, Knott and Morris all need to start in a 4-4-2.

Williams

Darby-McArdle-Sheehan-Meredith

Anderson-Liddle-Knott-Morris

Davies - James

We need a win to settle us.

16,210 (196 Gills)

Good guess

I said it at the beginning of the season when there was talk that Bradford could be capable of an automatic slot. They're a workmanlike team but with no real flair and so will grind out results but won't threaten the very top. Anderson and Marshall (good control and pace) could change that but it seems that your manager is persisting with a formation and tactics that clearly aren't working. Could be a good bet for the first manager sacked as another great attendance at VP has been underwhelmed.

Could understand coming here with a more defensive line up but I hate it when managers are negative at home (Paul Hart I'm looking at you). Only going to end one way unless Parkinson has a serious rethink on how to approach games.

I think I was hoodwinked by your cup exploits last year and the income generated plus the fantastic ST take-up.

I've backed you to win the League - still very early days though.
