The seagulls hosted Blackpool at the weekend looking to end their 2 game losing streak.

They had a glorious opportunity to take the lead in the first minute when Spaniard Adrian Colunga raced through on keeper Joe Lewis but scuffed his shot into the hands of the Blackpool keeper.

Brighton very much dominated the first half possession wise but did not really threaten Lewis. Blackpool hardly even got in the opposing box and you could see they were playing for a point.

Albion again dominated the second half and definitely deserved to win after they had 25 shots in the whole game.

Blackpool did have one good chance in the final ten minutes when Bruno made a mistake and gifted the ball to Ishmael Miller but birthday boy David Stockdale kept the scores level.

Brighton's Paddy McCourt added more creativity to the side in the final ten but saw his long range effort saved, Kazenga LuaLua also shot just inches over the bar but it just wasn't to be and the scores ended level.

Key man: Paddy McCourt (Brighton)
