Brisbane Road - Leyton Orient Grond Guide
How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
I cycled from home. It took me 10 minutes and I tied my bike on the other side of the road from the away turnstiles 10/10
If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
N/A, but it really isn't recommended to drive to this ground as there is a lack of nearby parking and traffic in this part of East London is always horrendous. It's much better to take the tube to Leyton station, which is only 5 minutes walk away or drive to somewhere like Woodford station, park in the car park there and then take the tube down a couple of stops.
Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
My view was generally fine but there are some supporting pillars in the way and I'd imagine that in a full away section you might not have such a great view. A plus point is that away fans are seated in the main stand on the side rather than behind one of the goals and that you can sit at a decent elevation above the pitch. This stand is rather old (it originally came from a greyhound stadium in the 1930s) and I'd think that the toilet facilities would struggle to cope if the away allocation is full.
Also, this didn't affect me as I arrived at the ground at 2:30 but a lot of Barnet fans missed the first few minutes of the match as the staff at the away turnstiles ran out of tickets and someone had to run to the main ticket office to get some more printed out. 8/10
If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
N/A
How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
We were pretty loud (by our standards), Leyton Orient were somnolent but a fine hot summer's day just made it feel a bit strange having a football league match at this time of year. 7/10
How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
I didn't try any but there are definitely options nearby. The Olympic Park is just round the corner and worth a visit.
Overall Score Out of 10?
For me 9, but other people's experiences will no doubt be different.
