Matt Smith's last game :(

Cotterill sensibly rested him in the week and picked Wilbraham over him, who has just came back from injury himself, so the chances of him being able to play two games in a week at the moment are very slim, so I'd expect him to start.

Rochdale look much less of a threat than they previously did with Matty Done, but they still have a very solid side, and gave us one hell of a game up there at there place earlier in the season.

2-1 win for me, the ideal scenario being Smith scoring both

Not able to make this one as I will be out of the country, but I hope Matt Smith gets a really great reception on his final game; he more than deserves it. City to win 3-1 Smith x2 out on a bang

I don't think Smithy will start. We are back to Wilbs and Agard for the rest of the season (barring loans) and I reckon Cott's will stick with them. We may see Smithy for a goodbye at the end, result permitting.

Rochdale have won at Swindon, drawn at MK and thrashed Preston on their own patch so we shouldnt be seing this as a home banker. They have a useful side. We rarely seem to nab tight 1-0 or 2-1s these days.. Ill go for one of they.

Isn't Wilbs suspended for Saturday? Thought I read that somewhere?!

Tough game, cotts rated the away fixture as one of our toughest tests....

Would of course be happy with any win..

Will go for 2-1 Flint and agard to score

I expect Smith to start tbh, last game and the form he's been in. Think Wilbs was given a game Tuesday to help get him back from injury so he wouldn't be thrown in at the deep end when Smith leaves but 2 games in a week may be a bit quick for him. I would expect Wilbs on the bench and maybe getting 25-30 mins Saturday. Consider we play Saturday/Tuesday for a while now rushing him back wouldn't be good.

Our jacks 12, the silly billy.

Very happy we don't have to face done in this fixture, although he did enough bloody damage the other week! Rochdale have the potential to cause us problems, but I think we will win. 2-1

Home win. We are shot for confidence, and are lacking in the final third somewhat, free hit sort of game for us I suppose before two home games we need to get at least 4 points from. To be as low down as we are on +10 goal difference shows just how well we did play earlier in the season, when we won it was more often than not a hammering.

My very last league one ground to tick off will be on a full house after Saturday's game.

I know, I was only messing because his profile says he's 34.

After his jpt goal award and being his last game, Matt Smith will be desperate to play this game and score as a farewell to bcfc.... Wilbs could play a part from the bench? .... Lot of consecutive games to play, so him starting again on Tuesday, would be ideal, for his ongoing return....

Hopefully upto 70 points tomorrow :D

http://mobile.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/ill-still-feel-like-a-city-player-smith-2298516.aspx - Really makes you laugh that only on Boxing Day there was a mass Matt Smith slaughtering on OTIB - fools.
Haha, yeah i was thinking the same thing.. missed a few sitters and there was a massive thread saying how shit he is! the next game he banged in a couple, and couldnt stop scoring after that...

Hes been a fantastic loan signing for us, i feel gutted for him he wont be able to play in the JPT final because if it wasnt for him we arguably wouldnt be there (he scored every single goal against gillingham!) he has said he will be there as a fan though watching from the stands which is good.. one thing that has stuck with me about him, in one of the first games after he signed he was sat on the bench and we scored a last minute winner (against crawley i think?) and he ran from the dugout to join in with the celebrations. Absolutely love that sort of passion from players.

Yeah I admit while at the Yeovil game I turned to my dad and said he's shite after he missed the 2nd open goal, don't think I've ever been more wrong about someone in a City shirt and very happy to be proven wrong.

Fancy us today. 3-1 Matt Smith with 2.

Good chance for us today. Cant see the other 3 all winning tricky games away from home.

Smith on the bench - harsh, but business is business, and I'm sure he'll get a fantastic reception when he does come on.
