Would be typical of us to beat Arsenal and then lose at Burnley. Will be interesting to see if we can improve on those kind of results.

Confident we can back the Arsenal result up.

Can only see Liverpool winning this, 1-3.

I'm going for a boring 0-0. Burnley will shut up shop and we'll really struggle to break them down. There's no way we'll be allowed space to get in behind. We'll end up with over 60% possession but do very little with it.

Not an easy game for Liverpool, but it's one they should win.

After the Arsenal result this is a bigger test than the fixture suggests, especially with Spurs, Leicester and Chelsea coming up afterwards. It's imperative we take this game, and preferably comfortably.

0-2 Liverpool. Coutinho and Origi.

Bet Gray will have a game of his life. As such I have decided to triple captain him in 1FF.

No mane no points. As couple mentioned above it will be typical of us to drop points here. If we have a 20 minute period like we did at Arsenal it could be 3+

Won't be the walk in the park some people will probably think it will be today. If Liverpool score first and early then they could and should go on to win comfortably. But if Burnley get ahead if could be a very difficult afternoon. Be interesting to see what happens with Sturridge if he's fit enough to start. Nobody can argue that he's not a massive talent and a match-winner on his day. But with the rise of Divock Origi, who Klopp likes a lot, and Firmino being fancies in a forward role he might not have a future at the club. With Mane out today I think he'll go with Origi up top with Firmino and Coutinho behind him, and Lallana is his new midfield role. I've always thought Adam is both a massively gifted and also hugely frustrating player, as a player with his ability should be scoring 10 a season easily. He netted against the Gunner and hopefully there's more to come, and he doesn't do his usual and go about another 10 games without scoring.

Lallana playing deeper seems to suit him well where he can still create and actually look more dangerous in games. It's also helping his goals and assists stats. Finally beginning to see the best of him in a Liverpool shirt

I'm surprised Klopp has dropped Moreno for James Milner, he must have missed Bilo's detailed analysis last week.

2-0 to Burnley. Dyche has out-tacticked Klopp.

Are Liverpool only playing away from home this summer?

Until after the international break so they can finish an expansion at Anfield.

Poor but credit to Burnley for not showing any fear from the off.

An early goal fro Liverpool though in the 2nd half and they can still easily get something from the game.

James Milner is available.
And when he plays, people all of a sudden realize why he wasn't in position for the second goal. Different player, same system.

Sturridge needs to realize he is not a playmaker. He is fucking useless. Get Can and Origi on the field.

Wank. Spoilt my weekend this and Vale's result, but at least Vale didn't let themselves down in regards to the performance and effort they put in. Liverpool really are chalk and cheese under Klopp.

Same story every season. Will probably do Spurs there next week after this shambles today; so inconsistent.

Ach well, there's always next year.

Spurs will attack Liverpool as Arsenal did and we'll probably score two or three. I certainly wouldn't be surprised. Probably a case that we turned up at Burnley today expecting to win the game just by getting off the coach. But sometimes you just have to give credit to the opposition and say that on the day they simply did everything better and were full value, as Burnley were.
