Doesn,t appear to be a thread yet on this game, main danger is undoubtedly Clarke who is scoring for fun. After the disappointment of Tuesday we hope to bounce back against a side who have only been beaten once all season. Pope already spouting off in Stokeinel about if he will celebrate or indeed if he will start the game, given fact he opened scoring at Sheff Utd i would be amazed if he was sub. For me the only loyal ones are us fans, the bloke tried holding us to ransom after a 3 year contract aged 30. I will be respectful as he says he will be with Vale but once whistle goes i fancy a raucous chant of ' One greedy bastard' as some fans chanted at Marshall at Bradford. Maybe if he drank less ale and smokes less fags he could of stayed with us. Uche Uche Uche.

Pope should be respected for what he did for us and being one of our own. I wouldn't take my wages being cut massively and don't expect him too but we were right to not offer the same amount as it wasn't good for the club and his injuries were stacking up.

Tough game and one we need to get back on track in. Tuesday was the first really poor performance after a season where we've been superb in the main bar killing teams off .

Fancy us for at least a point if we perform how we have most of the season but won't get anything if we have a shocker like Tuesday!

1-1 Pope and Uche

The difference is VF16 , i am on 20 K a year and manage to survive, Pope was given a ridiculous contract by Vale which if continued would lead us down the lines of administration. The bloke has only once EVER scored over 20 goals a season in his career, think his top return was 17 at Crewe prior to a move to Rovrum, what tarnished it all for me was when he slagged off Vale crowds last season.

Hello Tom you have joined Bury a side who get 2800 and on our last 2 visits we have had half the ground ? There was no need for a side swipe like that and continual digs at Smurf. A footballer taking a wage cut is slightly different from the normal working man , yes he has a family etc but if you can,t survive on 1500 a week the world has gone mad, that is for all players not just Pope.

Players come and go fans remain loyal, the king is dead long live the king, but one of our own or not he won,t be getting applause from me though as a player and goal threat he gets respect.

Badly need to bounce back tomorrow after an awful performance at home last time out that was somewhat unexpected. I can take losing games against the better sides in the league, which Millwall most certainly are, but we didn't even play at 30% of what we're capable of and that's the most dissapointing thing.

Bury have a few good players at this level, I wouldn't count Pope as one of them. Don't get me wrong, he was a good servant for Vale but for me he's average League One class at best. But if you do give him the right service he can be a threat if he's at it, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he nets.

A point would be decent tomorrow but all three and the result/performance in midweek can very much be forgiven and forgotten.

We get 2,800 even though we averaged 3,774 last year and will average over 4,000 this... K

Very very poor and concerning result. 3rd game in a row we've conceded from a corner and sounds like we were below par like Tuesday. Surely time for Hooper or Campion to get a place on the bench as bringing Daniel and Lloyd on is practically giving up.

Big work needed we've gone from keeping out Burnley and WBA with quality performances back to last seasons levels.

Yeah but "Pagey" isn't going to upset his mates like Birchall by not offering them deals or game time.

Got what we deserved, nothing. Bury keeper hardly had a save to make. And page makes the subs 10 mins from time when it was plain to see at half time that it needing changing.

We've gone from the sublime to the ridiculous in the space of one week. Really poor again today and we got what we deserved, which was zilch. No offence intended to any Bury fans here but they look a bang average side and were there for the taking going by their own performance. They didn't play well at all. As good as we were against the likes of Wigan, Burnley and Doncaster we've been every bit as bad in the last two games.

O'Connor can't come back into our midfield quick enough, and if Page doesn't give JJ Hooper a chance then he needs sodomizing, just not by myself.

Complete and utter garbage that made some of last seasons woeful efforts look good. I take it we never practice set pieces as we are completely clueless, giving the opposition a goalkick would be more of a threat.

It's something we've been terrible at for a long, long time. It's not like we don't have any height in the side when you consider the size of the likes of Innis, Purkiss and Ikpeazu. All three of them are units.

Wrong your going down with crewe
You're one point above us with a worse goal difference. We've also played some of the better teams in the league in the likes of Millwall, Gillingham and Wigan. In fact, take away that last minute goal you undeservedly scored against us and you'd be looking rather sorry right now, that's despite Bradford fans usual visions of grandeur in pre-season as every your lot seem to have every summer. :gr:

Simply dreadful performance, two puerile sides, Bury you are welcome to Pope looked lumbering and slow, as previous poster said all the good work against Wigan undone in a dreadful week. Poor start to season and stats look worrying all of a sudden. 4 away games , 3 against poor sides yet in those 3 we fail to score a single goal. 3 defeats in 4 now with Fleetwood away on sat where already i fear the worst. Also 3 succesive games we have conceded a free header from a corner, what's that all about? Garbage.
