After that good win last week its abit more positive for Carlisle this week and after 3 very good away performances in a row it seems that we've turned a corner away having been the worst away side in the FL only a month ago.

good timing with home form to pot at present, but now head to an expensive Bury side which still seems to struggle at finding just the right side to attack top 3.

I suppose question is with Burys usual crappy pitch and bad weather will it be on?

Not sure tbh. Struggled to get above freezing so far this week and the rest of the week looks the same. We do have covers (not sure if they are frost covers or just normal ones)

We SHOULD win this, I'm going for a 2-0 home win...... but............!
Flicker needs some favourable results starting soon or he could be OBE.
I'm enjoying the stuff he has got us playing - it's very easy on the eye when it's going well - but results are paramount as we know.
The whole club are playing football the same way in all the sides at all ages, I credit Flicker for much of this and it can only be a good thing as the kids progress through the sides, Shirley?
I hope he can sort us out, get promotion and stay with us - I don't want a hoofball merchant thanks!
Big soft spot for all things Carlisle - place, people, ground and club - so I would like to think they will pull away from the bottom two.
The only thing I don't like is our poor head-2-head record vs. Carlisle, so please don't start your good run until after Saturday !!

How do Big Dave!
Well, i like playing this jock wannabe team...They are always good for the crack...especially the St Bees and Egremont lads :)

Pitch, I live local and my garden is playable now...2 PM on a Tuesday ...

Team, I cannot understand what is happening behind the scenes...The ship is full of rats and Mutineers...

Game, I fancy us to switch on, and become a team again....but that could be more hope than expectation.

Expect changes, Flicker plays the pick the team lottery weekly.

We are Bury...we do what we do!

Yep it's fucked. Gonna be a scrappy game, not many goals in this I reckon.

How does it get like this? Poor drainage?

Apparently they are applying more sand to other areas. Beach football today.

Sh*t pitch is good.

end of day Bury currently have better more creative players than we do so a grubby pitch which hinders them abit and balances it up abit is a good thing.

Today is a game to show if we have the fight to scrap our way to safety, a team better than us on paper, away from home and with crappy conditions, can they dig down, scrap and dig in

RIGGGYYYYY!!!!!

Love Lumsdon's comment on what Riggy's mates in Keswick said about 'he'll probably just want to have a kickabout in the park with them when he gets home on Saturday evening'.

6 months ago he was chopping trees down for a living, now he's pulling them up.

Rigg's proving to be a decent signing so far. Sounded against the run of play but hopefully we'll settle now.

Sounds like we've been very poor today. Midfield haven't turned up. Deserved defeat.

Disappointing after some good away performances over recent weeks. Back in the shit and favourites to go down. Glad I got my £100 relegation bet on when our odds were better.

We can blame the pitch I guess.

My mate who was there said this.

"Dire display today, can't complain about the loss. Midfield all over the place, gifting them chance after chance."

Well, we won and back in the P/O - Really need to win on Tuesday to give us some very small breathing space. Can't see us beating Accy at their place tho.

We should have turned the game on its head and won with those two chances at the end but it would have been fairly harsh on Bury, who were in control for the majority.

Flitcroft's "I should be sat here saying at least 6-0" comments were a strange one...

Much needed home win, back on an upwards trajectory it seems. Win at Accrington and we are right back in the mix
