Carlisle host Accrington on Saturday in a bid to regain some form after a disappointing defeat at Portsmouth as well as getting knocked out of the FA Cup last weekend down at Peterborough. However, Accrington managed a goal-less draw away at Notts County in the FA Cup first round, meaning they play a replay on Tuesday. They are also in relatively good form in the league as well, winning two of their last three games. These two teams have already played each other this season with Carlisle coming out on top in the JPT first round, winning the game 3-1 at the Crown Ground. The overall head to head record between the two teams has Carlisle coming out on top, 28 to 17.

Mark Gillespie is still out injured for Carlisle (groin) as well as Stephen Elliott (achilles) Troy Archibald-Henville also misses out, along with Sean O'Hanlon. Steven Rigg, (thigh) Alex Marrow (abductor) and Paul Thirlwell could all return to the blues squad this weekend. Kal Naismith has returned to training for Accrington and could but make an appearance this weekend but Jesse Joronen will not play in goal due to picking up a long term knee injury. Anthony Barry also misses out, but Nicky Hunt returns from suspension.

For the first time under Keith Curle, Carlisle changed their system last weekend to a 4-5-1 instead of a 4-4-2 to try and frustrate Peterborough but I think back in the league, and at home, they will most likely go back to two upfront. The defence will probably stay the same, but i think the midfield will most likely consist of Potts, Dicker, Dempsey and Robson. Upfront Curle has lots of options with in-form Derek Asamoah, Mark Beck, Billy Paynter and Steven Rigg but I think he will most likely go with Beck and Asamoah. He could also play Bolton loanee Georg Iliev upfront, but I doubt he will do that because it's like playing with 10 men whenever he's on the pitch. Accrington will most likely stick with their 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 system with Nicky Hunt pushing for a recall and new signing Craig Roddan pushing for a start in midfield.

I really cant make my mind up about this game, I don't have a clue who will come out on top on Saturday!
