Keeping it simple with the thread title this time...

Two of the more 'stylish' League 2 managers go head to head this weekend, Curle and Tisdale. But who do you think is the best-dressed out of the two?

Having lost our previous 2 home games, we should really be looking at getting the 3pts here, though again it'll be a tough game.

Surprisingly, our most impressive performances/results have came on our travels, so Exeter will certainly fancy themselves, though their away record isn't overly special (7pts from 6 games). Just 1pt separates the sides currently, and both will have aspirations of reaching the top 7.

Hopefully Jabo will be fit enough to return, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's rested a little while longer. Wyke may be in contention too.

For stylish manager you choose a pic of Curle in a cufc training top?

Certain defeat this by the way. Whilst I think we can cause Exeter problems, I think they'll have too much pace and firepower in the final third for our dogshit defence to cope with. They'll cut us to shreds on Brunton park.

If Jabo was fit we'd maybe have a chance.

I fear this could be something embarrassing like 1-4.

I'll be delighted if we have Jabo and Gilliead back for this one. Team with them would be:

Gillespie
Miller Atkinson Raynes Troy Grainger
Joyce Hery Dicker
Jabo Gilliead

Asamoah for Gilliead if his loan extension doesn't get sorted out although by now I would think he really could use a rest.

I can't see us losing this badly, I can't see us losing badly to many teams at the moment, but it will certainly be a tough game. We need to start doing the business at home, not sure what it is that isn't clicking but if we can play with the spirit that we play with away then we'll be a match for any team in this division. Hopefully Jabo can get back scoring goals straight away as well, wouldn't want any talk of him losing form since injury as he's definitely our biggest goal threat when he plays even if he isn't as prolific as in August.

Gilliead returning would be a massive boost. I think this will be a game where we'll need to score 4 or 5 to get something.

I'd also like to see Atkinson back in the starting 11.

I was taking the piss to be honest, but there weren't too many pics of him looking dapper. Should've used one of him with that blue polo he's always wearing.

There was that one of him at Carlisle station with the squad on the way to Stevenage last year wearing a sort of tanktop, shirt and tie combo and some colourful socks I think.

I guess you mean this 'un?

I can't find any high quality pics but he looked the part when he appeared on Sky Sports after the QPR win too.

I mean, there's just no contest is there. Tis is the man!

The game will be tough. Some days we're really good and others we're just rubbish. From beating Leyton Orient and Portsmouth to dropping points against Newport and Stevenage we never seem to maintain any consistency. I think there will be goals. Hope we can win it but I'll go for 2-2 with Wheeler grabbing a brace.

Wheeler is the one that worries me most. Having watched him a few times, I don't think our defence (in its current setup) will be able to cope with him.

There's a fine line between fashion and looking like a nob, Tisdale has crossed that line whilst Curle is treading it perfectly at times. There's even an article calling him football's fashion icon somewhere.

Again I believe we've missed the boat on not using our money generated to bring in players now while we needed some improvements (a striker and a defender)

so think we'll flog this game and THEN in typical Carlisle board way suddenly this so-called money will become available.

we're always a club for only spending on lifeboats once we hit the Iceberg and are sinking rather than spending on finding ways to dodge the Iceberg when things look ok.

We've signed Gilliead and Gillesphey until the end of the season. Excellent news. I don't think it will help us this weekend but over the season Gilliead especially could be vital in securing mid table.

I like both.

I felt the lad at the back was badly badly let down by the 2 experienced pro's who played either side of him last Saturday who should have been helping him through that 2nd half when his bottle had gone after his mistake.

still a learning curve that in professional football mistakes cost games, unlike U21 level where it doesn't matter.

but that Newport game told me that Gilliead cannot play with Asamoah so that cannot be our front pairing next Saturday.

I hope KC dresses up for the occasion, it would surely be the most fashionable game of football of all time if both managers wore tweed jackets with teams playing passing football on the Brunton Park carpet?

This game is an absolute banker for anyone's both teams to score bet......

I fancy us to do well on a big pitch, but Harley needs to play as he's scored four goals in his last two trips to Brunton Park. I do expect us to cause problems for Carlisle with Wheeler, Holmes, Grant etc.

I'll go 4-3 to us...Harley, Morrison (goal machine), Wheeler and Nichols for us.

I'm almost certain we'll change the formation for tomorrow. We cannot be as wide open against this lot

As suggested earlier in the week we have a bit of a crisis in the midfield. We're playing 4 at the back, 2 in midfield and 4 upfront by the looks of it. And also no midfielders on the bench. 1 keeper, 1 defender and another 5 attackers. Half of our 18 man squad are attackers. Shitting jesus.

Charlie Wyke is back for us, playing up front with Gillead. Could be a decent partnership.
No Dicker in midfield, though.

Fancy a few goals in this, we just need the 3pts.

Yep it's a big concern and suspect we will lose any physical battles in the centre, however, Butterfield has done ok in there during the cup games so hope he doesn't have a doomer. Davies can either be decent or very poor so just hope he plays like he did at Pompey.

Still up top we will be a threat with our pace so hope we can get some decent chances.

Us having Gilliead all season is incredible. Deserves a goal today.

Summary of the first half, two well organised and creative teams cancelling each other out. Few really good chances, one shot from Nicholls I think outside the area drew a top quality save from Gillespie, while at the other end our best chance fell to Hery after Wyke was unable to get a shot away. Exeter are very fast on the counter with long throws from the goalie, but I think we've maybe had the better of the possession and territory. Some good tackles from Atkinson and Gillead has given their left back something to think about but with not much to aim for in the box.

Gillead sounds like a top drawer player and he's got McAllister on toast. We need to tighten up on him sharpish.
