Back to business in the league after a good day out on Saturday. We win this we can go up to 5th which would be excellent for us going into a big clash Saturday with Donny.

Would like us get Doyle back up top and play 4-5-1 and drop Armand but I'm not sire it will happen. Thought Crawley were decent when we went down to their place so surprised to see them sitting bottom.

Gotta win this for me, 2-1 Blues.

Always struggle against the so called "smaller" sides and sides that come and set up defensively, we're not that great at breaking sides down and we wasted too many chances against Derby on saturday.

Would love to see 4-5-1 with Doyle up top but since Boco left and Roberts is injured we've not got a strong a 3 behind as we used to. Nevertheless I would go with Clucas-Gardner-Oshea.

0-0 or a 1-0 CFC win

Shame this got switched to a Tuesday night, it will probably mean we'll struggle to beat our attendance of 29 at Post Vale last season.
But, being a new ground for us we might get nearer 50.
I will not post on here again until we win - so, see you next season.

I'm predicting a frustrating night, I think Crawley will come to defend and an early goal will be crucial.Maybe Armand is what we need tomorrow night to create havoc in their box when they have everyone behind the ball a loose ball to drop to any one of our attacking midfielders or even Doyle.

Last night, I dreamt that we won this 1-0 with a last-minute goal, so we'll probably lose 3-0...

3-0 Chesterfield. That'll do nicely.

Crawley were really poor. Worst team I've seen here this year I think. We never left half a gear

Last time we played Crawley, we got taunted with.....
"We'll never play you again"

Sometimes these things have a nasty habit of coming back and biting you squarely on the arse.

Chesterfield looking a decent bet for the play offs. Crawley an even better one for relegation with that Twat in charge.

Pre-season bet on Crawley getting relegated seems money now.

Yeah lump on Crawley for relegation lads, pretty much the worst team i've seen here for the last two years. It was quite surprising for me as i thought they looked reasonably competitive at their place only a short while ago, but as soon as we scored that was it, they visibly gave up. We barely broke sweat from there on in...Jayo's goal is worth checking out, a lovely move and finish with some classic off the ball running from his teammates.

The defending for the third though... simply awful.

Respect to the 51 away fans. Anyone off here make it?

Yeah, we scored 5 against them. Us. 5. Would've been more if we didn't give up and decide to let them get a few back. Half their squad have no business being in League 1.

The fact they appear to be pinning their hopes on (the 'now featuring added lard') Dean Morgan says it all really.

A move of desperation if ever there was one. Along with appointing Dean Saunders actually who was a great player and a decent bloke but he's no more a football manager than a chemical engineer. It definitely looks like there's a play-off place available to an also ran - top 4 nailed on in some order and Sheffield United surely taking one of the two.

Have to agree, Crawley over two games we have an aggregate win of 8-1 and it doesn't flatter us at all. Crewe were shocking too earlier in the season but it would appear they have improved vastly since. Crawley look the dead cert for finishing bottom now for me.

Yes, I made it (was also one of the 29 at PV last season).

Apart from minutes 30-60 it was a good day/night out.

Chesterfield were just too good for us on the night.

Hope to play you again as it was a really nice ground with a great away fan-friendly pub/chippy nearby. Applauding the 51 of us was a nice touch.

Good luck for the rest of the season. See you in the play-offs. :fish:
