Biggy at the bottom this.

We’re improving with every game under Lester, he has as many wins as GC had in 30 odd games and we look a much more capable side. McCourt and Hird are different players, Evatt at 36 is showing a new lease of life and in Dennis we have probably the best striker in the league.

Still think we’re dodgy at the back and Anyon scares me all the time so I think there will be goals on a Tuesday, looks the Forest Green way of winning games so should make for a good game. Definitely a must not lose rather than must win but my gut feel is both of us will move away from the bottom heading towards the new year.

Will be a low gate with it being a Tuesday night but still a massive game for us!

Good to see all three of us turning it around after the horrific start we endured, seemed it was doomed to be two of us three down but now looking very possible none of us three will go!

I sort of agree with the above, think all three of us will have enough to stay up after indifferent starts, we definitely underestimated the quality in this division but now appear to have found our feet. I would be worried if I were a Barnet fan, they are the perennial yo-yo team between League and Conference, think they might be on the verge of their next downward move...hard to pick who the other team might be, there is often a team that go into freefall, that doesn't normally happen until New Year!

Yeah, good chance that could happen now, quite a turnaround from all 3 really, although we're not out the woods yet we definitely look a lot less out of our depth then we did earlier in the season.

This is another big game but with Chesterfield starting to hit form I would quite happily take a draw and keep the run going.

Sounds like both still vulnerable at the back but getting it together going forward and sorting out the grit and attitude, so hard to call but since we've been decent away on this last run guessing at a draw as we'll battle but still concede. Doidge picking up poacher's goals recently but he's got more than that in the locker so maybe he'll get a couple of real doozies and nick it for us.

Barnet were poor yesterday and very negative, Crewe are in free fall and seem to have turned into us three early season. Morecambe and Crawley would be my bet though as it stands, we looked way better than Morecambe (which gave me heart that we’d be ok) and Crawley seem to be struggling big time so they would be the two who I think.

That said still work to be done by all three of us, FGR and Vale joint top of the form table and CFC improving then we should all be ok

Got to give big thanks to Vale, Chesterfield and Notts County, along with super Swindon, in bagging me £450 yesterday.

I’ve done the same 4 next Tuesday, too!

I couldn't predict a win for us, in fact we will be exhausted from playing nearly 90 minutes in pouring rain yesterday. This one could be a step too far, especially with el Glosico next Saturday. Definitely a positive mental attitude required on Tuesday to get any positive result.

My bets would be on Crewe - they look absolutely shite and have one of the worst records recently in the league apart from Barnet. Earlier in the season, when Crewe were still around midtable or so, Experimental 361 posted a number of statistics and graphics that show how even though they are midtable then, they rank close to last in expected goals conceded and created, with FGR, Port Vale, and Morecombe doing worse. Considering that the other teams have improved greatly recently, Crewe might find themselves left behind and stuck in the bottom.

Also I'm expecting this to be a high-scoring goal fest, as both teams seem to have much improved in their scoring abilities but they still look shaky in the back. 3-3 draw

More good news today (potentially) with the club announcing they are in early talks with a potential investor. Take this with a pinch of salt as we know what those in charge are like but if they are telling the truth then there is more light at the end of the tunnel. Still so many fans boycotting despite the return of King Jack

Interesting to find computer generated forecast:
Chesterfield 1-0 Forest Green Rovers h=53.1% d=24.3% l=22.6%
https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/league-two/league-table/predicted

The predicted end of season table also has Chesterfield 22nd and FGR relegated.
If I know where to find this computer brainbox but I'd pull out its plug if I came across it.

No changes for us, 1 change for Chesterfield. Both teams hitting a bit of form, and like to knock it about. Should be a decent game. COYR.

Let's hope it's going to be a game of two haves. Frankly I can't see it.
Cooper needs to come up with something to motivate the players. Plenty of foul and abusive language I think!

Sounded like we played well and should have been 4 or 5 ahead before FGR 2nd. Massive win, we’re now in touch with the pack

We weren't going to stay unbeaten forever. We're still right in the mix gotta bounce back Saturday.

Decent performance that & we really ought to have scored more, which is annoying when our goal difference is as crap as it is. We somehow contrived to keep FG in it with some less than convincing defending for the two goals but luckily the damage wasn't fatal.

McCourt's doing really well now, he's turning into a decent box to box midfielder and having a real influence. Dennis didn't seem to do much apart from score yet again from a couple of decent chances, but that's what I like about him, he's a classic 'poacher'. I'm loving Evo's recent renaissance as well...just goes to show what a great job SJL is doing really.

Thought FGR were game all the way through but the scoreline did flatter them a bit.

On to Saturday, with the pressure nowhere near as bad as it could have been...
