Wasn't at the game but was baffled by the official chesterfield twitter who constantly described us as "dangerous" and was "quite impressed by Crewe" these couldn't have been further from the vibes I was getting from people there.

Atkinson is fucking wank. We missed Grant so much it's untrue.

The thing that bugs me is that at the start of the season we had a squad that was blatantly full of shit, player for player one of the worst we've had in 30 years. But I'm not accepting the likes of Ajose, LDV, Uche, Colclough, Ness, even Inman are poor players at this level, they should be able to muster up more than one half arsed attempt on target.

Didn't realise that was Chris Atkinson! He was decent for us in League 2 a couple of years ago.

Where do I begin..

Today I was actually embarrassed to watch the game in the second half. Yes we've never been a physical side but today we lost every header, challenge and 50/50. What makes that worse is these arent even our 'own' young players and therefore should be able to put up more of a fight in that situation. The problem we had today was the players decided to give up, that is inexcusable at any level of football i'm afraid.

Today we got a feeling and a view of what we'll be like next season without Grant and I'll be honest and say I am worried.

Pay Inman up, bring Bailee in instead of Turton and give Saunders a go, can't do any worse than Ajose or Uche have done recently in front of goal.

Davis hasn't a clue I'm afraid. He seems to think playing attacking players means you are playing attacking football. Wrong. On Saturday at home to Crawley I happened to noticed Davis scream at Turton for crossing the halfway line despite us having possession, what message does that send out in a game we needed to win? If Steve Davis is there next season (i'm 99% sure he will be) then the season ticket sales will be the lowest for years.
