TORY pricks? That's f***ing rich, they coming from poncey Sussex!

I love how because they RT'd that it was on their site's front page and everything. Ironic endorsement for a silver spoon club.

Congratulations on your promotion and I look forward to seeing how excited our forum will be about playing you.

Well it seems the game didnt go incident free....The Whitehawk keeper was attacked by a Boreham Wood ''fan'' at the end of the game

Well, I'm pleased for Sam Cox and their ground is a lot better than Whitehawk's but other than that there's not much else positive that I can say about 'Wood's promotion.

Whenever I hear the name Borehamwood, I always think of the "fact" that Mike Smash of Smashie & Nicey lived in a funny farmstead in the town.

I usually drag a couple of mates who live in Harpenden along to a Tranmere game every season and thought Boreham Wood might be a suitable option. Not so sure, having read this.

Shenley is just up the road, there was once a funny farmstead up there; as kids when roaming the fields north of the town, you would quite often meet some of the more eccentric characters from that establishment.

Might be why some our 'fans' tend to attack anyone who looks a little different; i.e. someone wearing a different football shirt

We once had a Herts Senior cup match at Underhill between Barnet and Boreham Wood abandoned because of their "fans" invading the pitch, including some on bicycles!!

We played them in the trophy last season, their fans didn't give a shit about the game, were just staring at us singing stuff like "A Woking fan, on a string, she told me to kick his fucking head in" when honestly we give zero fucks about them and I have no idea why they cared so much about us.

Yup. We had to endure repetitive renditions of "no surrender to the IRA" in our play off final a few years ago.

Half of them wondered in after 15 minutes too. Still, it was hilarious seeing them all begin to run the length of the terrace towards us before realising their 'goal' was offside.

Haha congratulations to Whitewall and Boreham Wood. You seem alright to me, aside from the whole Chelsea thing. When Hazard leaves, Chelsea will be utterly insufferable! What's your Boreham Wood:Chelsea match attendance ratio like?

Zero for both in recent years; went regularly to the Bridge when we wete in the old Second Division, and watched Wood not so often when I lived there.

Armchair support now - looks like it's safer too!

How depressingly predictable that you're a two club armchair fan.

Can't afford Chelsea these days, but I think a few short journeys south to my hometown may be in order next season.

Does having the honesty to admit I'm now an armchair fan invalidate my preseence oh this site?

I suspect there are a few here.

The Bet365 'live coverage' ; ' Boreham Wood attack, Boreham Wood serious attack, Shot on target' was most exhilarating yesterday!

It depends where he lives. I can't tell looking at this on the mobile site.
Maybe 'Wood being in the National League will make it more of an attractive day out.
Except I'm too lazy to look properly!
