.............and Peter Mandelson. Going by the general election results logic, there aren't many northern sides that would qualify for promotion.

We do so just give it to us then. We won’t say no.

At least you are a proper club. Having said that, mixing politics in this promotion debate is somewhat irrelevant.

Aye. More than happy for club officials to put our case forward. There's no need however for a local MP who has no jurisdiction in the matter, and probably has never shown his face at a game to get involved, irrespective of party.

He hadn't been to Barrow before 2015, despite claiming he's "from Ulverston".

Well we know that neither the MP for Chipping Barnet, nor the MP for the constituency where the Hive is would ever come out to bat for us.

Since we're now based in Ruislip and part of it falls under the Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency, it would be pretty entertaining if that MP (a certain Boris Johnson) was to advocate for our promotion. He could even reference it as part of the daily briefing...

Dean Brennan has today said that he wanted the season to finish, saying what plenty of us on here have already mentioned that with no defined timelines for next season, what's the rush to start next season?

Some of our twats are coming out with shit along the lines "I don't want promoting like this", "void the season, it's fairer", "give it to Harrogate", Christ on a bike! Arsenal took a place in Division 1 in 1920 when everybody believed Tottenham, who'd actually won their League should have got the place. They've been there ever since and don't give a fuck. Take what you can and sod the rest. And vote Tory.

I actually feel sorry for socialists, they're so utterly convinced of their own moral rightness, but the people just keep on voting Tory, time and time again. Must just break your poor little hearts. :fl:

Staying in the NL would be much more bearable if Wealdstone and Stevenage are in it as well.

Wealdstone definitely, really enjoyed our games against them last year. Decent set of fans who really got behind their team.

Stevenage, not so much.

Labour should be grateful, that they don't have an extremist anti- semite leader. from the little I have seen of Starmer, he might be able to recall some of the loaned votes up north.

Barrow had the record attendance this season of 10,000 - if you include all the free tickets sent out to schools that weren't taken up. #tories

They are a detestable bunch of twats. The daily press conference on the tele is like watching the North Korea state propaganda machine.

From what I've seen of Boris, he might be able to keep them.

But yeah, decent start in HoC for Steer Calmer, definitely a change in tone, but he's got nothing to work with- look at that wretched front bench! Oh deary me. :fl:

Matt Hancock must have been counting ticket stubs at Boreham Wood before he got the job as health secretary.

The Tories equivalent of Diane Abbott. Those figures were as bent as those cast in the SPFL vote, or every Eurovision since they let the old eastern bloc compete.

The number of tests completed is not that important in itself. It’s whether the government will be able to utilise a testing regime effectively with a strategy to restrict the outbreak, keep transmission rates low and gradually lift the lockdown that matters.

I think it's more about the lengths they will go to to deceive the public that is the issue...

We obviously don’t think we are going to be involved in any more football for the foreseeable as we’ve already started letting out of contract players go.

Connor Dimaio is the first player released - no real surprise. Spent much of the season out on loan at Curzon and in our final game of the season he was taken off at half-time.

Bradford have suspended season tickets as they have been to 2 EFL meetings that suggest there will be no fans allowed at grounds until 2021 at the earliest.
How they are going to police that I have no idea.

I've heard they've got a cunning plan to keep the gates locked. :bdick:

Pedantism eh? Ok then, I don't know how they are going to police fans just turning up and congregating outside the ground.

Dear B2TF,

It is with regret that I write to you to tender my resignation from the Original Brotherhood effective immediately.

My decision will not have an affect on my personal opinion and principles, and I still think your organisation is doing a great job. But having said that, I'm not comfortable with the fact that a born and bred proud Yorkshireman such as your good self is now advocating members to vote Tory.

Yours sincerely,

Vanni
