Don't say that Joe, we always struggle when we are expected to win , no disrespect intended to Barnsley who should be doing much better.
They must be bottom of the currant form table, so yes I would be disappointed if we fail to win, but to expect us to win is very dodgy ground, I have learnt over the fifty years of supporting this great club never expect anything

Lost 6 on the bounce and we always beat Barnsley.

5-0 loss incoming

This is a banana skin as Barnsley have some decent players who are just playing badly at the moment. They play to their ability and it will be a tight game.

Whats happened to Lee Johnson? Talked about last season as one of the most promising young managers in the lower leagues.

Joint worse away record v joint 2nd best home home record (played 1 less game than everyone else, so if we win we'll be joint top with the Gills).

I wonder if Simeon Jackson will make a cameo appearance.

We've done alright vs you faux-Brummies at Oakwell recently but Coventry is not a happy place for us. I don't think we've ever not played utterly awfully there in the last 90 years, and with a record-breaking (for our time in the 3rd tier anyway) 6th loss in a row vs Scunny on Saturday we're literally going to get smashed here. I'm only going because I've recently moved further south and it's only about an hour away now. Don't imagine many others will be. Jim O'Brien to score a second half hatty, our shithouses to extend their run of failing to score from open play to over 750 minutes.

If ever there was a team in disarray it seems to be Barnsley. That youth over experience policy looks to have backfired massively.

I expect Cov will feature on a lot of Tuesday night accas.

What was the situation with Dan Crowley? Apparently got sent back for 'below par effort in training' and then Lee Johnson comes out saying 'he's the best 18 year old he's ever seen'?!

Crowley was recalled apparently because Arsenal didn't want him in a "relegation battle" in his fledgling career. Didn't have any issue with his effort on the field. He's going to be a classy little player if he learns to release the ball once in a while. Nice lad by all accounts as well.

Anyone got any recommendation on where I can park tonight near the stadium without having to book in advance?

tesco car park should be fine. You used to have to buy stuff to park there but they've stopped checking now.

That's a stupid reason, its character building.

So everyone expects us to win and everyone expects Barnsley to lose. This scenario has occured many times before and the result has been the same.

To be fair 1 goal was 100% handball and the pen was dubious .
We stooped to barnsleys level second half , scrappy sloppy and looked a bit tired .
That being said we struggled with the long ball which was relentless i dont know the last side i saw just keep humping the ball into the box as much as they did tonight .
Take the win , need a defender though
